Chapter 1 - A Senseless Novel

Jia Hao wondered with indignation why he continued to read this shitty novel, the hours bleeding into each other as he lay in bed, clicking 'Next Chapter' even as he grumbled to himself.

He always got too caught up when reading and tonight was no different, his attention captured by a sub-standard novel hidden away in one of his many webnovel websites. 'Forever For You'  was basically the average BL novel; a scumbag gong, white moonlight and a shou that suffered substantially.

The shou, Zhao Ming, came from a family that had dominated the business world for generations, all the other families trying their best to curry favour with the Zhao family, which was usually met with cold rejection. Regardless, it wasn't as if they were in any position to retaliate, the Zhao's the modern day equivalent of the imperial family.

What irked Jia Hao most about this novel was that the scum gong happened to have the same name as him- much to his chagrin and had somehow captured the shou, the two of them engaged. This scum seemed not to understand how lucky he was to be the apple of Zhao Ming's eye, completely ignoring his fiancé in favour of his white moonlight, who had elusively escaped him, and therefore spent all his time at clubs- his excuse to Zhao Ming that they weren't officially married, so he shouldn't try to restrict him.

Jia Hao had no idea what rose-coloured lens Zhao Ming had blanketed over his eyes, allowing this fiancé of his to mess around without consequence. It wasn't as if Zhao Ming were raised to be weak willed! Raised as the young master of the household, Zhao Ming was cutting and ruthless, dignified and refined.

Jiu Hao had clearly lucked it out, but didn't know how to appreciate a blessing when given one.

Long story short, the scum continued to ignore Zhao Ming, who eventually gave up hope and quietly watched as Jia Hao flirted with others right in front of him.

Who in the world had raised this stinky boy?!

The Jiu family, although influential, was no way near as powerful as the Zhao family, so what gave the scum gong such confidence to act this way? Jiu Hao supposed his awareness of Zhao Ming's unwavering loyalty was enough for him to act out.

Peh!

Jiu Hao spat out, infuriated that some author had cursed him with the same name as this heinous fiend. The ending was ridiculous as well- although the scummy gong never got his white moonlight, he took out his frustrations on Zhao Ming instead, who eventually ended up dying of an illness that he had kept a secret until his death, and the scum hadn't even attended his funeral!

Dogblood after dogblood, making the reader feel awful for this shou who could command the heavens but ended up stuck with a rubbish partner, ended up dying alone as the scum continued to chase others, who was even included in the will!

Seriously? Why couldn't the author let Zhao Ming finally leave, his efforts on this bastard were clearly wasted, who was so hung up on partying, clubbing and fresh little meat that he ignored the phoenix right in front of him.

What qualities did the scum have which enamoured Zhao Ming so? If Jiu Hao were the scum gong, he'd never let his fiancé go, who's appearance was described to be otherworldly.

Yet, no matter, the scum had found his personality too cold, even if Zhao Ming only exposed the soft, sweet parts of himself to this bastard that clearly didn't know how to appreciate it.

It had hurt to see Zhao Ming silently try to gain the scum's attention and care, only to be cruelly discarded in favour of a white lotus who was leading him on by the nose!

Stuffing his phone under his pillowcase, Jiu Hao decided that he'd had enough for today, else his blood pressure would continue to rise and he would die. Hah! If he died, that would be the perfect starting point for a transmigration novel- reading a shitty novel then somehow dying and ending up in the novel he last read.

Snorting to himself, Jiu Hao made himself comfortable before falling asleep. Whatever, he'd read something worthwhile when he woke up, in order to quell his bubbling annoyance.

"Brother Hao..."

[Huh?]

"Hmph, Brother Hao...pay attention to me..."

Jiu Hao's eyes snapped open, only to look down and see a young man with wet, long lashes looking up at him, cheeks flushed and pink lips formed into a pout on his lap, shirt halfway unbuttoned.

[What kind of bizarre situation..I don't have a brother!]

Jiu Hao only lightly pushed the boy off, but it seemed as if his weight was equivalent to feathers, as he ended up on the plush floor. Jiu Hao took in his surroundings with slight trepidation.

A club? What in the world was he...

An arm slung over his shoulder, disrupting him his thoughts as the owner began rambling on.

"Hah? I thought you were eyeing that little beauty? Is he not good enough? He's pretty sweet, unlike that Zhao Ming of yours....sheesh...so scary..."

Z-Zhao Ming? Did he say Zhao Ming?

Did he really fucking transmigrate into this stupid novel?! As the gong no less? At the very least, make him the shou- so he could grow a backbone and leave that little shit.

Why the hell did he jinx it?! Now look at him, stuck in some high end club, getting wasted if the various wine bottles were anything to go by.

Jiu Hao didn't know who the guy next to him was, but expected that he was one of the scum gong's friends- his ostentatious appearance making Jiu Hao cringe.

The 'little beauty' seemed used to Jiu Hao's behaviour, pitifully crawling up to him, a wronged expression on his face as he lay his head on Jiu Hao's lap, akin to a kitten. Except all he did was make Jiu Hao's skin crawl.

Before Jiu Hao could push him off once again and attempt to wrap his head around the situation, the doors burst open and Jiu Hao's heart dropped at who walked through.

The cannon fodder beside him piped up, clearly unaware of Jiu Hao's despair.

"Yo~ Young Master Ming~ What brings you here?"
