Chapter 29 - meeting with Tanvi and miss madhu

I knew you'd say that, so I came prepared. I looked back and called out, "Hey Tanvi! Come here and sit." I had spotted Tanvi sitting close to the windows, wearing a cap and pretending to work on her laptop. She closed the laptop, got up, and walked towards me, her confident stride commanding attention.

"How did you know I was here?" Tanvi asked, her voice husky and confident.

Do you think I'm an idiot telling you about the place but not time and you will follow that? Nah! I just give you a hint to come here. It's simply a trap. I explained that I had texted every close friend of Salina Before sending a message to you and they apologized to me saying it's your idea that makes Salina confess to me as a punishment.

You're.... Salina's best friend right? She showed me your photo once. Miss Madhu spoke up,

Yeah, I'm her best friend Tanvi asked, and continued with So, what were you two talking about earlier?"

I explained everything to her, and when she heard that I had collected evidence, she said, "Just give me some time, and I'll correct this. The situation is still in control." her beauty and poise made her words even more convincing if I were a normal guy I would follow her words without a second thought.

"It's already out of control," I countered, "but if you transfer colleges with Salina, we can settle this with a warning and involve teachers and parents as punishment. We don't want to destroy anyone's life.

Can you really do that?" Tanvi asked, with a serious voice in commanding attention.

I continued, "So, it was someone from your friend circle? And even close to you and Salina?" Miss Madhu's eyes widened in shock.

What? Madhu said

Ahhh! So it was another trap? So who is the main ring leader behind the scenes? Who was pulling strings! Tanvi said relaxing in a chair with a husky and confident voice

What do you mean? Madhu asked

Tanvi started explaining " I mean this guy is a total idiot, who failed every single test and is about to get expelled. He can't do anything by himself, so there must be someone with a great brain behind this."

I asked, "So, that's the reason you made Salina date me? I'm right?"

Tanvi nodded, "Yeah, obviously!"

Tanvi spoke up, "So, tell me, who is the mastermind behind you?

You're so smart! I can't believe you figured out something like this, but I'm really sorry! I can't tell the name of that person. We were doing this for money, I mean in a good way okay! After I helped out Salina I was demanding some money from you and Salina's modeling agency. That's why I even went to her photo shoot that day to meet her manager and as you can see, here I am!. I added, "It was all planned by that person because they knew you would choose me." Tanvi's expression turned serious.

"How much money do you want?" Tanvi asked

"How much are you willing to give?" I proposed

"With her date expenses, I'm willing to give 2 lakh rupees in return for breaking up with Salina, handling this whole mess without involving me and Salina, and dealing with your mastermind friend."

"Break...up...with Salina?" My heart sank, and I felt a pang of pain. "I can't do that," I said, looking at Miss Madhu, who was still silent.

Miss Madhu finally spoke, her voice stern, "You disgusting, fucking shit! You did this all for money, and now you don't want to break up with her? You fell in love with her, or what?" I remained silent, unsure of how to respond.

Miss Madhu continued, "You don't have the right to fall in love with her. You want money, right? I'll give you 3 lakhs to break up with her and give her a better excuse to hate you, because that poor soul is starting to develop feelings for you. You better crush that crush of hers." Miss Madhu's words cut through the air.

I simply nodded my head. Miss Madhu took my phone and did something on her own; I didn't say anything. Tanvi and Miss Madhu left the cafe, and I checked my phone to find that Miss Madhu had transferred the evidence to herself. I kept it in my pocket and left the cafe.
