Shadow Life

Hi my name is Peter Chen, the year is 5098, the month is January, the day is the 10th, 95 year's ago the earth was invaded by alien's, and these aliens used mind control on the people of earth, but it only worked on kids over 18 years of age, but there are some of us that the mind control does not work on, the kids that the mind controll doesn't work on are called the chosen ones, they are all chidren of gods, and I am one of those kids, I am an 18 year old outcast, I ran away from my home because my parents were being mind controlled and when I turned 18 and didn't show signs of being mind controlled, they tried to take me to the hive, the hive is what controlls all of the mind controlled adults and where the alien that deals with the abnormals, the kids who are not being controlled, when they are taken to him he preforms test on them to see why we are how we are and so far they haven't found out why it happens, and the kids that they never got there hands formed the rebellion, and I was the 300th kid to join the rebellion and this is the story of what happend during my time as a cadete in the rebel army.
Chapter one
The 300th cadet
This is what happened on my 18th birthday, and how I became an outcast from everyone.
"Pete, will you come downstairs for a minute, please." asked Mom,
" yeah, Mom, I will be down in a sec." I said, my name is Peter Chen, and it is January, 1st 5095, this day used to be known as New Year's Day, but ever since the mezah came to earth and took it over on January 1st 4095, it has become known as the day the world as we knew it ended or simply "doomsday", today is my birthday, I am turning 18, this age is when most people become mind controlled by the mezah hive mind the reason why I say most people is because there are some kids who are not affected by the mind control, and I think that I am one of those kids because my parents say that there is a chance that I might be one of those kids, the mezah call them abnormals, but they call themselves the Gears, they are a group of rebels who are not affected by the mind control, there a few of them that have special powers, the ones that don't have mech suits made for them and they customize their suits, they add weapons and designs. (Ok, now let's get back to the present.) When I went downstairs my mom, dad, and little brother were all in the living room waiting for me with a birthday cake, and when I came down they all started singing, and I told them to stop, they know I don't like them singing the "happy birthday" song and then my parents said, "you still don't like it?"
"no, I don't," I said
"Can you tell us why you don't like the song?" they asked
then all of a sudden the front door slammed open and a bunch of people came through with guns, " who are you, and why are you here?" I asked
"Shut up, droid." (droid is what the mind-controlled humans are called)
"I am not a droid." I said "I may have just turned 18 today, but I am not a droid"
"Ok then tell us who we are?" they asked, "based off of the marks on your shoulders, you are a gear scouting squadron, am I correct?" I asked "But from your looks not only are you a gear scouting squadron, but a couple of you might be a child of a god, but you probably don't know it"
"yes, you are correct and we can see now that you are not a droid because a droid would have called us abnormals or rebels, they would not look at our shoulder marks and recognize what the design means, so if you want to stay alive then come with us." they said "and how can you tell that a couple of us are the children of gods"
"Ok just give me a moment." I say "Because I am a child of gods"
"Why, what are you going to do?" they ask "And did you just say gods as in two gods are your parents"
"I have to say bye to my little brother." I tell them "And yes, this is just the family that took me in, my father is the god of creation and destruction and my mother is the goddess of nature and all elements"
"How old is he?" they ask "and if you are the child of two gods, then aren't you a god as well?"
"he's 5." I tell them "And the king of the gods was given a prophecy."
"so 10 more years then we have to see if he's like you or like your parents." they said "And do you know what the prophecy said?"
"Ok, I will be right back." I tell them "Yes, it told him that I was going to be known as the god of all, and also the god creator, and that I would take his throne and be the next king of gods, so he forbids me from becoming a god, and I was thrown out of the godly realm, but see what my uncle didn't know was that even as a newly born god, I was more powerful any god, including him." and then I walk over to my brother Stefan Chen "stef, I will try to be back to see you in 10 years, ok."
"Ok Pete, I will miss you," he says
"I'll miss you too little man, be good for me, stand up for yourself and anyone who you see getting bullied you try and stop the bullies, but you make sure not to hurt yourself got it." I tell him
"We have to go now before the mezah comes to see what's going on here." the gears tell me
"Ok, then let's get going." I say, then we go out the door and I see a helicopter with at least 25 mezah surrounding it, then the mezah notices us and says "Hand over the kid, you rebels, his majesty, the overlord of the universe has demaned his presence."
then I asked the gears "Does the mezah overlord always ask for the abnormals to see him?"
"no, this is different, they must find out that you are different." they say, then the mezah says "Hand him over now or else."
"or else what, you mezah scum?" I ask
"or else we will kill your entire family, starting with the little kid." then they shoot Stefan in the shoulder right above his heart
"STEFAN, NOOOOO!!!!!" I ran over to Stefan and I held him in my arms,
and he said before he passed out
"Pete, don't let them hurt anyone else, you have to stop them."
then my parents kneeled next to me "You have to use that power of yours, son, kill them, please, avenge your little brother." they told me
"But you said to never use that power again." I say
"Just use it, son, please."
"Ok, I will, just stand back and take Stefan please." I tell them, then they take Stefan out of my arms and I say "You should not have done that, mezah, hey, gears." the gears look back at me when I call them "Stand back." and they see the hate in my eyes and they ran to protect my parents,
then the mezah said "Oh yeah, and what are you going to do about it, you human" "I will kill you, that's what I'm going to do about it, and I am not human, I am a god." I tell them and then everyone sees that I start glowing white "You should not have shot my little brother, mezah, because now you are going to die.'
I tell the mezah, and when I tell them that they turn to look at me, and they see that I have one white katana with a sun right above the hand guard and a black katana with a moon right above the hand guard
"These katanas represent, light and dark, creation and destruction, they are the sun and moon katanas, and right now I can't control my power, so in case I die, I love you, Mom, Dad, and I wish you could have lived a longer life, Stefan, you did not deserve to die, now, mezah, it is time for you to die. Do you still think that I am a human, you mezah" I say as I turn towards them, and when I do they see that my left eye starts glowing white and my right eye starts glowing black, and then I can't see anything at until the gears try to restrain me they tell me that my brothers alive and that the mezah is dead, I tell them that they will have to knock me out because I can't controll my power, and so they knock me out, I expect to wake up in a second because that is what normally happens when I get knocked out or when I fall asleep, but that is not what happens this time, this time I see a blinding flash of light, but also growing darkness and then my eyes adjust to both the darkness and the light and I can see a women dressed all in white and a man dressed all in black and the man says "My son, it is so nice to finally see you after all these years, but it looks like your powers have gotten out of controll."
"Wait, what do you mean by my powers, I thought that the katanas were keeping them under control?" I ask
Then the woman says "No my child, the swords are not able to hold your power back anymore, you can still use the katanas, but you must learn how to control your power."
"Can't you teach me how to control them?" I ask
"No, my son we cannot help." my father says
"Why not?" I ask
"Because no god has ever had the power that you do." my mom says
"What do you mean?" I ask
"You see not only do you have our power, but you also have the primordial chaos gods legacy, and the primordial creation god's legacy." my father says
"Who are they, and why do I have their legacy?" I ask
"They were the first ever gods, created from the first and most powerful forms of creation and chaos, and the reason why you have their legacy is because you are the most powerful god since their time, and they wrote a prophecy that, only the most powerful god will be able to have their legacy and powers." my father tells me
"What type of god does that make me?" I ask
"Well that makes you the primordial god of chaos, destruction, nature, and all elements." my mother says
"Wait so I am a more powerful version of both of you and the first gods?" I ask
"Yes," they say
