The story begins with a man in his mid thirties with pitch black hair and brown eyes with dark circles below them, sitting on his chair and typing something on his laptop. He was in his bed room and the room didn't have much furniture except the bed, the table, chair and a wardrobe. He finishes typing after sometime and raises his hands in air in with excitement.

"IT'S FINISHED!" shouted the man.

"After spending nearly a decade on this" he says with tears in his eyes.

He wipes his tears.

"Now i just need to upload the last chapter and then i can rest."

He then sits back on his chair and then begins uploading the last chapter. While the last chapter was uploading the man begins reminiscing on how everything went and how 

fun and sometimes annoying it was to write some chapters.

After some time the final chapter uploaded and people begin reading it. 

"Good Work Sean." he proudly says to himself.

Sean was the name of the young Author.

"It was fun writing you, BLACK HEARTS!" He shivers after saying shouting the name.

"I still cringe at that name" he says while chuckling to himself.

After an hour Sean begins reading the reviews left by the readers.

Comment(1) : "THIS ENDING SUCKS SO BAD! WHY DID YOU DO MY BOY THEO LIKE THAT! 

Comment(2) : "BLANK WHEN I CATCH YOU BLANK!

Comment(3) : "LOVED IT! I LOVE THIS SADISTIC ENDING!"

Comment(4): "WHY DO YOU HATE THEO SO MUCH!"

Sean was a bit confused, scared and angry by all these hateful comments and the comments that did compliment him did it for the wrong reason.

Sean reads a few more comments and then closes his laptop and goes and lays on his bed confused and disappointed.

Sean : "That was the best ending i came up with according to the current plot, do you guys really think i can just pull out an ideal ending from my ass just because i am an author!"

He was replying to all those comments in his mind.

Sean : "If only i had made a different decision earlier in the novel... then maybe the ending would have been a better one..."

With these thoughts of regrets he closes his eyes and drifts to sleep.

Sean wakes up after few hours. He opens his eyes in a completely different place. Sean founds himself laying in a forest.

"huh?! W-What?!" he shouts at the new sight which wasn't his bedroom.

"Is this a dream?" was the first thought that came into his mind.

He was confused and scared of all this. His confusion increases as a holographic interface appears in front of his face, startling him. Sean instantly recognized the screen.

"T-This is a system?! Why am i seeing it!" he said in a slightly scared tone.

The system was welcoming Sean To this world.

"Welcome"

"Sean the creator"

Sean was a little puzzled by all of this. He then decided to ask system a question.

"Were you the one who bought me here? and what is this place?"

The system replied by showing the appropriate text.

"Yes"

"This world is called Warunsia."

Sean still couldn't understand. He asked another question to the system.

"Why am i here then? And what did you mean about me being the creator?"

The system didn't respond instantly this time.

"You are here to fix the world you created."

"You are the creator, the one who wrote everyone's fate."

Sean's eyes widens in shock as he thinks that he was transferred into his novel. He after few seconds of thinking rejected the thought as it was pretty much impossible.

"This is probably one of those dreams which you can control, what were they called again?" he thinks.

The system then showed some more text which made Sean shiver.

"This is not a lucid dream"

"Y-You, How can you read my mind!" Sean shouts in fear.

The system does not reply.

"There's no way this isn't a dream!" Sean shouts in fear and denial.

All of a sudden Sean is electrocuted. This makes him shout in shock and pain.

"Pain might help you believe in this reality, sir creator"

Sean came to his sense and starts to have thoughts that everything just might be real because the pain he felt was very real. He didn't fully accepted that he was transferred to another world and most importantly in the novel world he wrote.

"If it really is Warunsia, then am i in the great maze forest?" Sean asked calmly.

The system replied instantly; "Yes"

Sean : "What year is it?"

System then shows the text "2289"

Sean : "A year before the start of the novel storyline..."

Sean : "Didn't you say i was brought here to fix my mistakes, So what are my mistakes?"

A Mission type message pops in the holographic screen

Sean : T-This?! Do i have to do all this!"

The system replied with a cold "Yes" text.

"This dream might be the death of me..." Sean sighed as he said that.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

1) Remove all 3 big tragedies from Theo's life.

2) Kill or remove the Protagonist's love interest.

3) Correct the Protagonist's twisted sense of justice.

4) Assassinate the second prince of the Losthorn empire.

5) Stay anonymous during the mission number 2 and 3.

"More objectives will be made according to the unexpected changes" -system

Sean was in shock after reading the objectives. 

Sean : "How am i suppose to kill the witch! She's stronger than Ed!"

"Not completing the objectives will result in you having the same fate as Theo" -system

Sean goes quiet after reading this message. He then begins thinking about Theo.

Sean : "Theo... the most unfortunate character i have written during all my time as an author."

Sean sighs thinking about everything he made Theo go through.

Sean : " Theo the miserable sloth king. The character with most wasted potential. He has the most broken ability is this novel but he can't properly use it because he was unaware of the ability's existence. In the last chapter he gets assassinated by the protagonist who became fearful of him. Well Ed himself would never think of killing Theo but the witch manipulates Ed and makes him kill Theo. The witch was aware of Theo's power because of her hacks like skills, she's the number one character i need to watch out for.

Sean : "How long will it take to reach the Salt city?"

"1 month if you walk there by foot." -system

Sean : "To stop Theo's first tragedy i need to go to Salt city in the kregres Empire... Before that, do i have any skills?" said in an excited voice.

"You possess the skill Transcendent memory." -system

Sean looks at the system with disappointment.

Sean : "Good memory, That's it?" he says in a annoyed and disappointed tone with slight hint of him mocking the system.

"No" -system

Veins starts visibly showing on Sean's forehead. He takes few deep breaths and calms himself.

Sean : "Can you please explain to me what Transcendent memory does?"

"It allows you to recall any memory of yourself perfectly. This also allows you to perfectly see all memories of characters you have written." -system

Sean was shocked at this absurd skill. It wasn't a skill useful for offense but when it comes to psychological warfare this skill is in a league of its own, is what Sean was thinking. 

Sean : "It's not bad at all" he says in a slightly embarrassed tone.

'I don't have emotions so you can mock me. hate me or even curse at me. i won't feel anything. sir creator." -system

"Stop calling me sir creator." Sean says with slight hint of annoyance.

"What should i call you then?" -system

"Author will do" Sean replies

"I will call you sir Author from now on." -system

Sean smiles remembering the old times.

Sean begins walking through the thick maze forest and starts looking for ways to get out of there and reach the Salt city
