ADRIANA'S POV
"Well?" I urged seeing that he wasn't ready to talk.
He shrugged and leaned back, avoiding my gaze suddenly. "I'm sure you get the main thing here, hm?"
I did understand that he said that Henry had betrayed the family but...how? Henry wasn't that sort of person, was he?
"He was working for my father" Vincenzo began, his tone hard. "Feeding him information, feeding him lies"
I blinked at that. "Lies?" I asked to be sure of what I had heard.
He nodded, his nails digging into the chair. "We figured that out a little too late when he had already planted a seed of doubt into my father and my father had acted on it..."
I tried to piece it together. "Oh... That was when Master LaRosa came over to threaten you..." I muttered.
There was a knock on the door that made Vincenzo pause before sighing heavily. "Come in" he called out.
