ADRIANA'S POV
I don't even know what I was doing here, but I needed to be somewhere private, and I couldn't go to Henry's quarters, so I had to come here.
Grace and I didn't have the type of relationship that Valentina and I did, but I was grateful that Grace didn't press to know what was wrong with me, and she didn't say anything about my brooding character right now. I just wanted to be on my own.
She had been busy when I came but when she had left me with a glass of chilled water, she had gone back into a room and locked herself in it for a few minutes before she came back out, a tired look on her face.
"Wanna talk now?" She asked gently.
My fingers were still wrapped around the glass and I stared up at her with droopy eyes. "No, there's nothing to talk about; I've just been out of it for a while," I muttered, dropping the glass to the table so I could rub at my eye.
