Damian walked through the town wearing a black hoodie because the MBI had begun conducting a serious investigation. The MBI was the most feared bureau in the world, known for having many skillful members. "Hey, Damian, where are you going?" Stein called out from a distance as he approached. "With that weird outfit, you look cute in that attire," Stein said, moving closer and pulling back Damian's hood. It was then that he noticed how pale Damian looked. "Damian, what's wrong? You look paler than usual," Stein asked, unable to restrain his concern. "I'm going out of town for a while," Damian replied quickly, pulling his hood back up and rudely walking away from Stein. "See you later, Stein," he called out from a few meters away. Stein, with a sad expression, shouted back, "It's noon; let's get something to eat before you go. All bills on me!" Damian turned around and smiled. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I'm starving," he said happily. "Let's go to The Avala Parlor," he added, leading the way. After a short walk, they arrived at a small, idyllic building that exuded calmness and tranquility. A sizable sign displayed the establishment's distinctive name, "The Avala Parlor," in beautiful cursive font. They entered together and were immediately greeted by an old man who walked toward them. "Here come our faithful customers! We just finished preparing our special. Please, have a seat, my children, and feel at home," the old man said, still lively like a teenager. "Today's meal is on the house," he announced, and Stein couldn't contain his happiness at hearing this. Damian sat down and looked around. The peaceful atmosphere outside seamlessly transitioned indoors, where gentle hues and comfortable furnishings created a haven of relaxation. The soothing music from a vintage hand-crafted Indigenous music box filled the air. Damian couldn't get enough of the serenity of this place. "So, why are you moving out of town?" Stein asked, just as Damian was starting to unwind. "I was forced out of my house," Damian explained, hoping to avoid further questions. "Why?" Stein pressed. "Because I didn't leave with anything valuable, even though I was gone for about three months," Damian replied, still relaxing in his chair and making the most of the moment. A waitress brought their food, and they ate in silence, neither saying a word. "These children are unusually quiet," the old man said from behind the counter, referring to Damian and Stein.
After a while, they finished eating and left immediately. Stein managed to convince Damian to do all the fun activities they used to enjoy together. Despite being somewhat scatterbrained, Stein knew how to cheer people up. Damian was so happy that he lost track of time, giving in to Stein's enthusiasm and enjoying their various adventures. Eventually, Damian interrupted everything when he checked the time and realized it was getting late. "Stein, I have to go," he said. "But you don't have to leave! You can stay at my place," Stein replied sadly. "No, Stein, trust me; it's better if I go," Damian insisted. "Alright, let me at least accompany you to the village gate," Stein said. "Okay, if you insist," Damian replied casually.
