Qingcheng could feel Yun Mu's eager gaze but decided to ignore the guy altogether and sat down next to her father.
"Cheng'er, did you sleep well last night?" Qingcheng still asked with a smile.
In her mind, Qingcheng thought last night had been truly frightening. But she couldn't bring herself to say that to her father, so she simply nodded: "Pretty well."
"Yun Mu, he's alright, isn't he?" To her surprise, Wu Wei was persistent and continued to ask.
Qingcheng looked up and saw Yun Mu smiling merrily at her.
"He's okay, just a bit lecherous," Qingcheng said with irritation. What was going on with her father, and why was he so concerned about this Yun Mu kid?
Qingcheng laughed and nodded: "It's better to be a bit lecherous, what man isn't? That just proves Yun Mu at least is forthright!"
Although Qingcheng inwardly resisted her father's words, on second thought, she admitted they weren't entirely without reason.
