"Of course." Shen Yan muttered to himself, making room for Tingting. He then followed a girl from a minority group to learn how to dance.
When Tingting saw Shen Yan leave, she smoothly took a seat next to Song Yun, pulled a beer from the box on the ground, opened it, took a small sip, and chuckled, "I don't understand how you guys can enjoy beer; it's so bitter."
"It depends on the person," replied Song Yun, emptying the contents of his beer bottle in one go. "Drinking with someone you don't click with is tasteless even with the most expensive liquor. You know, for men, drinking is a tool to gauge character. Do you know when a man is at his most honest?"
Seeing the other person shake their head in coordination, Song Yun continued, "A man is most honest when he's drunk. His demeanor with alcohol reflects his true nature; a bad drunk likely has a rotten core too."
Tingting listened to Song Yun impart his knowledge, sipping her beer slowly. Before long, she finished the bottle.
