Since Priscilla left the Crimson Moon manor, Julian had sent hundreds of e-mail messages in just two days. His messages ranged from manipulative apologies to threats on her life.

[Charlotte, I'm wrong. Please go home.]

[I can't sleep, I can't eat. I've lost so much weight thinking about you].

[You know I've always loved you, right? I screwed up, but doesn't everyone deserve a second chance?]

When Charlotte saw these messages, her mouth twitched in disgust. Her stomach churned and she wanted to throw up.

[What will people say when they find out you've been living with another man? You're ruining your own reputation.]

She laughed. How could he say such a thing when he was the one who cheated with so many women? Instead of worrying about Charlotte's reputation, Julian should worry about his own.

[But I'll forgive you if you come home now.]

Charlotte's hand clenched into a fist. Forgive her? For what?
