Hazel held her breath when she felt a cold hand smooching her body through her flimsy nightgown . She tried to move back but she couldn't, she squinted her eyes trying to see who has been visiting her in her dreams but she couldn't. The person's hand drew a line sensuously from her legs to her back and then to her jaw . She bit her lips feeling hot all over , this is just a dream wake up! Hazel thought alarmed but she couldn't. The man's hand combed through her hair and he tilted her head upwards she felt his breath on her lips and gritted her teeth. She was not going to give her first kiss to a mysterious man in her dream!. Steeled by this resolve she tried to turn her head but his grip was tight . She felt his mouth on her lips and she bit his lips so hard trying to show her displeasure .
Her eyes fluttered open and she began panting, she closed her eyes to calm down. A firm knock sounded on the door and a servant entered, she was two years older than Hazel and also her close friend. "Good morning milady"she greeted cheerfully and she opened her eyes sitting up . "Oh my God milady what happened to your lips!, yourey bleeding" Rita gasped . Hazel quickly threw the duvet off her and rushed to the mirror to see . Her face froze when she saw the blood on her lips that was clearly not hers ,' t-the man in her dreams was human ?' she thought clenching her nightgown. She wiped her lips and muttered "I think I bit my lips when I was sleeping ". She walked to the washroom and Rita followed to help her with her bath. Whiles submerged in the water Hazel could still feel the lingering sensations of the man when he was touching her . Would anyone believe her if she told them? She thought looking at Rita."Is there something you want to say Hazel?" Rita queried and she shook her head.
On a long lavish table the Wiltchiz family sat down for breakfast and Hazel made her way from the stairs to the table. "Why are you now waking up?" an old woman dressed elegantly with her chin raised high queried with displeasure. "I-I"she stuttered not knowing what to say and her grandmother clicked her tongue in annoyance. Caroline her elder sister smiled in satisfaction as she mumbled to her "don't take what grandmother said to heart just make sure to wake up early next time ". Hazel just nodded and focused on her food, she knew what her elder sister wanted the satisfaction of always being reprimanded. Gabriel the gardeners son made his way to the table and she furrowed her brows , why was he serving food . She turned to glare at her elder sister who was smiling ear to ear . Her sister knew about her infatuation on Gabriel. Gabriel even though just a mere gardener's son was very good looking his brown locs were hovering over his forehead making him more irresistible. Caroline had wanted the gardener's son to dote on her just as he doted on Hazel , but when she failed to grab his attention she started causing trouble for him to see her reaction. Gabriel blushed when his gaze collided with Hazel's and she quickly looked away with her cheeks turning pink . She knew how fast her grandmother was and didn't want him to catch her . Gabriel continued helping with the serving of the food until he got to where her elder sister was. Caroline pulled her leg out just when he was about to head to her grandmothers place and Gabriel tripped and in turn splashed the hot food on her grandmother's face . Everything happened so fast that Hazel hadn't seen it coming until she saw him on the floor with some of the hot soup on his hand.
*Slap* Meredith slapped the servant boy so hard that he fell down again. " How dare you spill the soup on me !" She yelled and Hazel stood up . Her grandmother Meredith arched a brow and she quickly sat down . " I'm sorry for what happened mother it won't happen again " Vanessa her mother said and her grandmother scoffed"You better train your servants well nessa I didn't train you to have such despicable servants at your home ". Meredith gave a deathly glare to Gabriel who cowered in fear and left the place. "Your wages for this month would be deducted" Vanessa declared and Gabriel nodded before walking out of there.Caroline smiled victoriously and sipped on her soup . Hazel clenched her cutlery so tight that her knuckles turned white. "Don't ever try to defend a servant Hazel unless you're trying to tell me that he's more than a servant to you "Vanessa warned glaring at her . Hazel noticed the way Gabriel slowed down his pace waiting for her answer . "No he's not , he's just a mere servant I'm sorry mother" Hazel replied still clutching her cutlery. Caroline smiled and mumbled only to her hearing "oh how heart broken he might be now ".
In a far away mansion in the land of Alvana , in a desolate mansion a man layed in a coffin eyes fluttered open as he smirked with blood on his lips . The Lock of the coffin broke on it's own and he got out of it licking the small blood on his lips . His red eyes shone hungrily in the room . He walked out of the room and he saw the servant he had left behind five years ago . "Vivian " he called with his patched voice and she rose her head . "Milord , you're awake!" She gasped shocked. 'But it wasn't even the full moon yet " she thought. "Relay my messages to my dear mother and sister that I'll be at the mansion very soon" he muttered and vanished into nothingness. Having served the lord since when he was a child she still couldn't believe that he could vanish into nothingness,' was he the one in the prophesy, the lord of darkness ' she thought as a cold shiver ran down her spine. She quickly shook her head it can't be him .
Vivian didn't waste time and quickly went to the coach man to report to him of the Lord's awakening. They rode to the Reigns Mansion which was quite far from where they were . Arriving at the mansion the guards didn't stop her knowing fully who she was . Vivian made her way to the mansion and told the butler she needed to have a word with the Lord's mother. Gwendolyn made her way to the drawing room and settled down . A servant entered to serve them hot tea but neither of them touched it . " Is he awake?" Gwendolyn asked straight to the point. " Yes he woke up just this morning " Vivian replied. Gwendolyn's eyes softened upon hearing the news .
