Chapter 6 - Avatar (1)

[You cannot enter this world!]

"What? Why?!"

I looked at the message denying my choice, no denying my will.

[ID: 16379 is not accessible due to its genre!]

Genre :After the end.

"How do I access it!?"

I asked desperately.

[(Info) The genre "after the end" can change to "new beginnings" after the population increases or enough advancements have been made]

I briefly paused when I read that message.

"How do I speed up advancements!?"

[You can gift awakened with items and such]

'And I don't have enough coins and I have no items.'

I sighed and saw another message.

[Your friend is online!]

'Ownerless? Is that what a constellation is classified as? An owner?'

My vision quickly went dark and I felt weightless.

'It's like being a ghost all over again.'

[Your username is now Quint]

I didn't think about it and ended up setting my username.

'So it can read thoughts...'

'Huh, what's up with that last option?'

I was about to start customizing my appearance when another message appeared.

[Due to the title: Saviour of corruption(Mythical) Your body has been forcefully changed to a pre-made body]

'What the hell?!'

Before I could properly comprehend what I read everything went dark.

*********

A man in a library casually reads a book.

[The EX rank hunter and the F rank demon lord]

Description: A webnovel that has become a physical book through the system.

Note: it has a 6/10 rating

It is his day off and he decided to read a novel.

[Someone has met the requirement!]

Then a message appears in front of the man.

[Number 0016 has been activated!]

He had white hair and his multi coloured eyes looked at the message silently.

He contemplates what to do for a second and then sighs lightly.

One of his eyes shine brightly and he smiles slightly.

"It's true. Another one has appeared."

The man closes his book and his other eye loses colour and after a while becomes pitch black.

In the next moment he's in a meeting room with several other people.

"So, what are we going to do?"

He asks a question and everyone in the room is silent for a while.

Then someone with a sword on their waist answers.

"Let's observe for now and not interfere."

Almost everyone agrees.

Then he asks someone.

"What do you think?"

********

I opened my eyes and I saw the blue sky.

'Where am I?'

I sat up and saw that I was in a grass field.

There was no building in view and no clouds in the sky.

'I should check my abilities.'

'Huh? I don't think I changed my title though.'

I looked at my name for a second and sighed heavily.

"So, am I in a female body?"

As if to confirm it the system window turned into a mirror.

'If I remember correctly, this was a premade body.'

I had relatively long hair, a pretty face, a tall stature and the rest of the female body.

'I'm probably be teased about this for a while when I meet up with Alius.'

Gender: Female

Height: 192 cm. /6.3 feet.

Weight: 172 lb. / 78 kg.

Age: 20

Appearance: Golden eyes, Black hair and B cup.

Note: Sorry about your breast size. If it's too big it would hinder movement. I tried to make up for it with appearance so don't be mad.

I thought about what to do for a moment before sighing loudly.

I decided to ignore the note.

"Let's hope the body synchronization doesn't mess me up."

I still didn't fully understand what happened but decided to move on.

[Equipping: broken constellation's sword(S-)]

'Maybe I can repair the sword here.'

I hadn't thought much about it because of the conditions to repair it.

'If I remember correctly I need a dragon's flame or heart to be able to even start.'

I remembered when the fighting goddess enthusiastically explained how to she got her sword.

[Constellation fighting goddess: is telling you to listen closely!]

At that time I was in an A rank gate fighting for my life.

[Constellation fighting goddess: is explaining how she got her weapon! "It started with the materials being molded by a mythical dwarf and the heat from a red fire dragon! Then!"]

"Ugh, I'm fighting right now!"

At that time I was very annoyed and almost ignored her.

'Quite a ridiculous situation looking back on it.'

*Rustle..*

I quickly stopped thinking and pulled out my sword.

*Whosh!*

"Ah!"

When I turned around a boy was on the ground presumably fallen down in shock.

'Hmm, he's quite weak. Probably a teenager. Why is he out in the wilderness?'

"Oh, I'm sorry about that. My instincts kicked in."

I offered my hand to the fallen boy and his cheeks quickly turned red.

'Oh, yeah. Now I'm a girl.'

I pulled him up with all my strength and sighed inwardly.

'I'm so weak right now.'

"Th-thank you!"

He quickly bowed.

'So they bow here.'

I made a small mental note and asked him a question.

"Do you know where the nearest village is?"

The boy flinched while his cheeks reddened.

"Y-yeah, a-are you a traveler miss?"

"I guess you could say that."

I sheathed my sword and looked at my clothes and his.

'Pretty average adventurer's clothes. His clothes look normal.'

"So, can you lead me to your village?"

I asked while sensing the mana in the air.

[Developing skill...]

'It has no traces of corruption.'

I sighed in relief and the boy nodded.

"Yeah! I c-can bring you to the village miss."

Then the boy took the lead and I followed closely behind.

On the way we saw a green slime and the boy stopped me.

"Shh, you have to wait for the slime to pass."

The boy looked very nervous but still tried not to show it.

"Yeah, that's a good strategy. But, you can relax a little."

I smiled towards the kid and walked towards the slime.

I unsheathed my sword and focused on where the slime was.

The slime noticed me and jumped at me.

"Miss!"

'Arc.'

I swiftly swung my sword in an arc.

[Developing skill....]

[You have killed a slime(G)]

[You have gained experience!]

My eyes widened slightly.

'This feeling. It's familiar.'

The first monster I killed after I awakened.

A feeling of accomplishment and a small realization that this was just the beginning.

I took the broken mana core from the slime.

"Woah! You just sliced through it like that?!"

The boy said excitedly.

"Yeah, I have a good sword."

The boy barely containing his excitement asked a question.

"Can you teach me swordsmanship?!"

'Huh?'

I was shocked and stunned, absolutely bamboozled.

I had never expected someone to ask me to teach them.

"Uh, I'm sorry but let's talk about that later."

The boy nodded and enthusiastically ran ahead.

I followed the boy until we reached the village.

'It's a pretty small village with a small barrier preventing monsters.'

"There he is! Hey! Where did you run of to this time?"

One of the guards noticed the boy and yelled at him.

The boy ignored his yelling and yelled back.

"I found someone to teach me swordsmanship!"

'I don't remember agreeing to that.'

The boy quickly ran into the village after being scolded and a guard approached me.

"I'm sorry for the trouble. He's been obsessed with becoming a swordsman ever since he met a knight."

I nodded in understanding.

"Can I enter the village?"

I asked just in case and the guard nodded.

"Of course, we're grateful that you brought him with you."

The guard bowed slightly and let me enter the village.

It was a very humble village with multiple farmers and damaged houses.

'I should probably ask people for information.'

First I approached some farmers.

"Hey, where is this?"

The farmer stopped picking up wheat and something else and looked at me.

He looked to be about thirty.

"Hmm, are you new here?"

I nodded and quickly explained how I got here.

"So, you helped that kid. Huff, alright I'll explain where this is."

To summarize what he said, this place was called Onryx. It used to be close to a mine but it was shut down after an accident.

The nearest town was to the west there I could go for selling and buying things. I could also get to other cities from there more easily.

The nearest city was to the east. There was the adventurers guild. But it was more dangerous because it goes through a forest with monsters.

'Haha.. that organization.... again...'

The good old adventurers guild from every single fantasy world.

"Thanks for the information. If I could pay you I would, but I'm broke right now."

The man shook his head lightly.

"It's fine, I'm just happy to help."

I waved goodbye and continued asking people questions.

I saw a few youngsters looking at me suspiciously but I ignored them.

'So when people enter the forest barely any come back out?'

I nodded to myself and noticed a boy pointing at me.

'Hmm? He's the one who lead me here. Why's he pointing at me?'

Next to him was presumably his mother looking a little mad.

'What? Why is does she look mad?'

I approached them and asked.

"Uhm, can I help you?"

"Did you put some kind of idea into his head?"

I shook my head with a confused expression.

"Huff, let's talk inside."

The woman took the boy by the wrist and dragged him in.

I quickly followed and was lead to a table.

'Oh, it has a lit candle.'

"So, what did you bring me in for?"

I looked at the woman with a neutral face.

The woman sighed.

"You, did you tell him to become an adventurer?"

She asked seriously.

I shook my head.

"No I didn't."

I could guess where this conversation was going.

'I guess she's just worried mother?'

I thought about what I've done up until now and asked a question.

"Is this about me teaching him swordsmanship?"

The woman nodded seriously.

"I do not agree to you teaching him. I don't want him to live fighting monsters."

I nodded sighing lightly.

"I never even agreed to that. And if I did I would have asked for your permission first."

The woman sighed in relief and the boy.

"What?! Why won't you let me?!"

Started throwing something reminiscent of a tantrum.

"I worked hard and even did chores and you won't let me?!"

"I've already said no!"

I silently watched this unfold and silently tried to absorb mana.

'I have nothing better to do right now.'

[Developing skill...]

I focused on absorbing mana silently and after a while everything went quiet.

'If I remember correctly, because earthlings didn't originally have mana we had to start with potions or level up to level 10 for the first class.'

But currently my body was not that of an earthling.

'This body readily accepts mana.'

[Re-awakened skill: mana circulation(F+)]

I stopped after that message appeared and opened my eyes.

"Huh?"

But what I saw surprised me.

The woman and the boy where sitting down silently on their knees.

"Uh, are you two alright?"

I asked genuinely confused.

'All I did was circulate my mana?'
