Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

The three moons shining bright in the night sky, two full and one half. This was the night when nightwing dragonets with both mindreading and foresight powers were born. But this time, only two eggs are due to hatch, so far the reports the queen received. The nightwing castle was looking far more beautiful in this night. The castle, made of pure obsidian had tapistries made of pure blue crystals and ice. Moon, stars and the legacy of the nightwings were carved on each walls of the castle. This architecture was very well planned by none other than the queen herself, and further assisted by the Night Empress Lunar.

Queen FrostWalker of the nightwings.

Sshe was waiting for the 5 dragonets to appear soon, its tonight. The meeting with the Night empress Lunar about Celestial, who was waiting in the next room. FrostWalker was staring at the throne room's glass made windows with arcitecture and glass paintings on it. One of the paintings were of Darkstalker rising from the Jade mountain, bringing his darkness along. The other painting was about Foeslayer and Arctic from the past. The third painting was about the last nightwing queen, Queen Battlewinner in her lava bath, surviving the frostbreathe. The throne room also had many other tapistries on the wall, beautifully carved.

FrostWalker knew she had to be a better queen, so she'd do anything, even if it means being rude and violent. But her sense of justice was pretty much developed, comparing to the past she had dealt with. She remembers 22 years ago, when the nightwings found her cave in the sea kingdom, and asked her questions. She lived there for 500 years, hiding herself and her animus powers. She was brought ahead to queen Glory of the Nightwings and rainwings, and FrostWalker offered a peace offering, only if she becomes the nightwing queen and flees to the old night kingdom with the entire tribe. Some opposed, comparing her to DarkStalker and the rest agreed. The queen agreed as well, and FrostWalker did exactly what she promised to do, a better future for the entire tribe, despite her being a half icewing.

A nightwing guard entered the throne room and bowed infront of the queen. "Your majesty? Permission to speak?" Asked the nightwing guard. "Speak", said FrostWalker. "Your highness, the dragonets have arrived and are due to be summoned in the night empress's library where she awaits for all of you. The dragonets are currently waiting in the guests caves.", said the nightwing guard.

*The dragonets arrived, at last.*

"Very well, I'll go meet them first, then we shall proceed." Frostwalker said. "Any other news?" "Well", started the nightwing guard. "The sandwing brought an unusual thing. The dead body of a skywing, who looked like belonged to the Solar army. He wants you to come and inspect it, as they claim something is wrong with it", said the nightwing guard.

FrostWalker was slightly confused. What could be such unusual, a dead skywing. She had to go check it. "Your dismissed", FrostWalker ordered, as the nightwing guard left. Frostwalker got up her own talons, spreading her white-black wings to look majestic, with her ice spikey tail glowing in the moonlight, she proceeded to the guests room.

The 5 dragonets were waiting for the queen. It's probably the first time of CrystalClaws being in the nightwing castle. He knew its outer beauty, how the night castle stood like the Jade Mountain. Blake looked the most excited, asking a lot of questions every minute. He looked amazed seeing the tapistries on the walls, how the castle looked like the night sky itself and how beautiful the nightwing kingdom is (it used to be ruins before the night queen and the night empress came with the nightwings to fix it). "Can you stop asking questions", Snowflake said to Blake. She was annoyed of his chatter. "She's right. Perhaps learn to talk less when the queen arrives", said Aqua. Blake nervously giggled. "This place is coolx so what else could I do", he said. "Silence all of you...", Hawk said. "I can hear talonsteps", he said.

The entrance door to the guests cave opened, as two guards and the night queen herself entered. The 5 dragonets bowed at her presence, as she glared at them and studied them with her white snowy but menancing eyes. "Ah, so you guys came at last", said FrostWalker, her tail lashing against the floor slowly.

"It is an honour to be here, your majesty", CrystalClaws started. He was the nightwing of the group so it was his duty to present the queen to the others. "We've finally arrived at your order after a quite tiring journey, but there is something we need to report, your highness", continued Crystal. Frostwalker noticed the dead skywing behind. "Very well, someone begin with the explanation of what a dead skywing with unusual armor is doing in my palace", said FrostWalker.

Hawk stepped forward. "Your highness, this rogue skywing from the solar army attacker us at the north-western corner of the sand kingdom, not far from the night kingdom", Hawk started. "The armor he wore is strange because the solar army armor is not so detailed like this. This armor seems to be made of pure fire and ruby steel. Where on the other claw, solar army's armor is made of simple steel and obsidian. There is an odd strange sign of a moon being split into half on the armor", Hawk presented the armor to the queen after taking it off the skywing. FrostWalker's eyes narrowed as she studied it closely.

"I need to test this armor on someone to see what th spell on it is. Celestial is a careful planner and her spells are strong. So it is better to find it out first before it causes further harm to my subjects", said FrostWalker. She looked at a nightwing guard and ordered him to come forward. The nightwing wasted no time and with the order of the Queen, he took off his own obsidian black armor and wore the one of solar.

The others watched carefully. The nightwing, immediately after wearing it felt a shiver down his spine. He glared at the Night Queen. "Hail down to Daybreaker before she ends you all", said the Nightwing. "Serving the nightwing queen is not my purpose anymore as I have realised there is only one true queen, Daybreaker, the sun of the night!"

The others, including the queen were in slight shock and amazed. Before the nightwing could harm anyone, FrostWalker casted a spell to set the nightwing asleep. She took the armor off him herself and grabbed it. "I believe this.. " *she looked at the armor and her voice was slightly shocked, "Is the first call of war."
