__________
This vibration was more violent and intense than the roars and tremors on the battlefield.
The countless creatures engaged in battle had initially thought the earthquake was caused by the battle itself.
But gradually, the humanoid creatures, blinded by the frenzy of killing, came to their senses.
They realized the ground was shaking so violently they could hardly stand.
At the same time, a large number of massive rocks began to tumble down from the tall mountains nearby.
In confusion and fear, countless creatures looked toward the towering peaks.
The dinosaur people noticed that the old and weak members of their race, who had originally hidden at the mountain's peak, were now descending quickly toward the foot of the mountain, away from the battlefield.
Were they coming to support the battle?
No, they were retreating, avoiding possible injuries from the awakening of their god.
The earthquake persisted, growing ever more intense.
The warriors and behemoths of the other two tribes on the front lines also noticed this anomaly and began to pull back.
They were somewhat frightened and knew what they might soon face.
There is a god in this world!
Moreover, the gods of the other two tribes had already shown themselves on numerous occasions.
But most gods preferred to remain dormant, and with their tribes to hunt for them, they were naturally inclined to laziness.
This is a primitive world, and the so-called gods were also very primitive in nature. They had simple minds and followed the lazy desires of instinct.
Thus, when these gods had "tools" to use, they rarely showed themselves.
For ordinary beings, encountering a god might be a once-in-a-lifetime event. Only priests close to the gods and tribe leaders had the privilege of seeing them often.
But not having seen a god didn't mean that ordinary beings lacked fear or reverence for their existence.
Furthermore, the humanoid leader orchestrating the battle between the two races knew the terror of gods all too well.
What else could cause such a powerful rumbling and shaking of the mountains if not a god?
So, when the anomaly began, the two tribes regrouped and pulled back under the command of their stronger warriors.
Do the dinosaur people have a god?
At least, that's what the dinosaur people had always claimed, and their tribe was indeed powerful.
After all, one's strength was the foundation of survival in this world, as evidenced by the dinosaur people's ability to dominate both the northern and southern parts of the continent alongside the snake people.
But whether they had a god or not, once a war of extermination like this began, there was no turning back—unless the dinosaur people truly summoned their deity.
But were gods so easy to summon?
And, even among gods, there were different levels of strength.
The so-called gods of weaker races were often no more than slightly stronger beasts.
In their ongoing struggle, the other two races had slain many false gods from foreign tribes with their own power.
What's more, they firmly believed their gods were the mightiest. So, despite their fear, the two tribes did not retreat completely but chose to wait and see.
Perhaps it was just a grand commotion, but they wouldn't leave until they determined whether this god was truly unstoppable.
The mountain peaks were cracking.
Red-hot lava began to flow from the cracks toward the base of the mountain.
But that was only the beginning.
ROARRRRR!
A giant volcano erupted with a deafening roar, sending thick black smoke and ash billowing into the sky in an explosive burst.
In this eruption, a multitude of lava and boulders were flung high into the sky like a storm of fiery meteors.
Then, with powerful energy and blazing heat, thousands of lava-infused boulders rained down upon the battlefield surrounding the mountains, sparing neither friend nor foe!
At that moment, it felt like the end of days. The land within a radius of several kilometers transformed into a fiery inferno!
Black clouds gathered thickly over the mountains.
These dark clouds were formed from the heat and vast amounts of volcanic ash spewing from the eruption.
On the ground, the falling lava rocks had already turned it into a sea of fire.
However, the three tribes had been prepared for such a scenario, and this apocalyptic scene caused little harm to them.
They were a race of giants and extraordinary beings.
With their powerful bodies and agile movements, most managed to avoid the shower of molten lava and falling boulders.
Only a few unfortunate souls perished, failing to react in time.
At this moment, the three tribes had already pulled back from the battlefield.
The dinosaurs gathered near the mountains, where lava continued to flow down.
Remarkably, the dinosaur people were highly resistant to lava, fire, and even extreme heat.
Some didn't feel any discomfort stepping on the scorching lava; in fact, they found it quite soothing.
But now, they were not focused on the fire and lava—they were gazing up at the mountain peak, where lava erupted continuously.
Their eyes were alight with excitement and awe.
Everyone was inexplicably thrilled amidst this apocalyptic scene.
Not only were the dinosaur people transfixed by the mountain's peak, but the snake people and shark people were also staring at the erupting volcano, as though facing a great adversary.
Around the battlefield, thick smoke continued to spread across the sky, while flames and smoke engulfed the land below.
With the temperature rising sharply, the shark people and a host of sea creatures suffered the most, forcing them to move closer to water sources.
Meanwhile, the snake people and basilisks cast wary glances around with their scarlet eyes.
The entire ordeal didn't last long.
Perhaps five minutes, or ten.
At last, just as the three tribes were adjusting their positions, it happened.
ROARRRRRE!
With a deafening roar, a colossal creature suddenly emerged from the heart of the volcanic eruption.
Breaking free from the restraints of rock and casting off discomfort,
James finally awakened.
"ROAR!!!"
His roar of exhilaration echoed through the sky.
The enormous sound wave instantly drowned out all other noise!
James felt as though he had finally broken free. He was awake at last and able to move freely!
He couldn't resist a triumphant roar from the depths of his heart.
At the mountain's summit, surrounded by lava and flames, James roared joyfully, instinctively moving his limbs in a slow, stretching motion.
Only then did James notice his newfound form.
He was standing upright, not crawling as he once did.
His forelimbs had evolved into short, thick appendages that resembled human hands.
His lower limbs were sturdy and powerful, like legs carved from stone.
In shock, James looked down at his body.
The next moment, he was utterly stunned.
"This form?"
"No way…"
James was bewildered, hardly able to believe it.
He stretched out his short forelimbs, lowered his head, and felt his own head.
It was flat, slightly square…
Finally, James was convinced.
"I am Godzilla!"
"I've become Godzilla! No wonder the dinosaurs revered me and saw me as their deity."
James didn't know how to describe his feelings.
He felt a strange mix of amusement and speechlessness.
He was secretly thrilled because this flat-headed Godzilla was a creature he recognized.
Although a monster, it was definitely better than being just a lizard, right?
At least it had a sense of grandeur.
In this strange world, simply being alive again was a blessing.
And being Godzilla? That was an absolute win.
But, as thrilled as he was, James couldn't help but be a bit confused.
How had he become Godzilla?
What could have caused this?
Well, he had no answers.
Instead of wasting time pondering the impossible, James focused on the present.
Standing on the mountain's summit, with lava and smoke rising behind him,
He looked down from the peak.
