It was now July 23, 2029.
on a Monday afternoon, the day was just about set when
everything was about done with the robot, everything in its abilities was a success, all the robot needed was just proper neck movement. the robot once tried to move on its own during testing, if it wasn't for Netro being the one to witnessed this, the robots head would've been damaged, and all the hard work could've been for nothing. once Netro seen that the robot tried to move on its own during testing, it helped him realized that the neck movement still needed to be tested, and that it was completely strange. Netro knew that he hasn't put any power source into the robot yet, he believe it was in a work of strange power, because even when he first seen this robot, it already had the ability to move, he wondered but didn't seem to question it, he knew there was something special about this robot, and knew he needed to do all that he could to make this robot work.not long after a whole day, Netro locked up and went to go clock out, while he did, he heard someone creeping in the hallway, he looked around but there was no one to be seen, he thought it was just some rats, or late night workers who were barely clocking out such as him, he didn't want to think too much of it, and continued to close down.he than, heard it again, this time louder, it felt like someone dragging a chain, he knew this time it wasn't all in his head, he wanted to use his powers but was too tired so he let out a loud tone "whoever's there, come out, Now" he said with a firm tone, but nothing, no one was there, no one to be seen, it was completely weird, for the first time he was actually scared, worried that he didn't want nothing happening to his robot, scared of reliving the events, seeing the flashbacks he got again, scared him, he then opened the main room, looking at Neyxtou, who was still a work in progress, nothing but blue neon lights brightening the robot, it felt nice in the entire main room, dark with neon lights, Netro wished he had made his apartment just like this, but he didn't have enough time to do so, he never felt so loveable towards anything but technology, being so fascinated with how he constructed Neyxtou, it felt pure and wholesome. "nothing will happened to you, i will make sure of it" Netro said as his eyes digitally went blue, and he gained his confidence than he was gonna face who ever it was in the building with him, he then scanned to see who was in the building, then he found out it was Terfex, Netro then laughed and felt relieved to see that it was one of the friends he knew, he leaned on the side where all the stuff was and he smiled "here i thought i was fighting an intruder" Netro said, as he got up and locked up the room again but this time went down the hallway, "TERFEX you dick" Netro said opening up the lounge room, as he seen terfex doing something, Netro scoffed "Ahem" He said, his arms folded leaning against the wall as terfex paused and slowly turned around, "uhm, i can explain" terfex said, as Netro smirked "oh really, surely you weren't looking for more power cores" Netro said onto him as Terfex eyes widened and was nervous "look, i can explain" terfex said as Netro shook his head "you sicko" Netro laughed as terfex frowned "seriously, I'm not a sicko, i just need it for me" terfex said while Netro dragged the situation on more "well soon Neyxtou's gonna be needing them, I'm gonna have to turn you off" Netro said jokingly as terfex mouth dropped "your not serious are you" Terfex said now completely scared as netro chuckled "no i was just messing with ya" Netro said smiling as terfex was relieved "who's Neyxtou" he asked as Netro then realized he didn't tell anyone the news about the robot, "he's a new robot I've been working on" Netro said as terfex was really happy and surprised "is he gonna be able to talk, move, SING AND EVEN" Terfex couldn't help but feel a plague of excitement for Netro, terfex kept rambling on about how he would like to make Neyxtou his best friend and while hearing that, it made Netro feel alot better about going forward with Neyxtou, he just wondered if his other friends would feel the same, then he wondered "hey, you really got to let me know about you being here, just showing up out of no where really had me scared" Netro said as terfex was confused "hmm, was i that loud" he asked as Netro nodded "yes when i was about to lock up, i heard someone creeping around the hallway" he said as Terfex titled his head "i know this is gonna sound crazy but, that wasn't me, i only showed up right now" terfex said as Netro eyes widened "what, that wasn't you sneaking around" Netro said then he felt creeped out now "then i wonder who it could've been" Netro said feeling a shiver down his spine, "hey since your here, come with me to check on neyxtou i need to make sure he's okay, just in case if someone is here, it'll be a 2 verse 1" Netro said as Terfex was chomping on a power core "hm" he said munching while was he wasn't listening as netro groaned "UGHH did you here what i said, i said i need you to come with me" Netro said getting irritated as terfex turned toward him with power juice running down his mouth as Netro frowned "you know what, just stay here, enjoy you're power core weirdo" Netro said as then his phone was vibrating, it was a text message from roxy that she needed Netro to make his way to a meeting and be up first thing in the morning to finalize papers for this robot, roxy was always the type to make sure that things were settled with the government and law enforcement to make sure anything was under the legal agreement, after the death of thunter, and with what he did, he forgot that he was under watch by the FBI and the government, with how thunter ended, it was safe to say he needed to make sure Neyxtou was clear for engagement with society, he knew Neyxtou wasn't ready for that, but- wanted to make sure in every way possible that he was.then Netro went inside the lounge room and swinged the door wide open, "Terfex, Watch Neyxtou, Make Sure Nothing Bad happens over night, got it" Netro said as terfex enjoying and zoned out with the power core still munching on it, as Terfex snapped out of it and nodded "sure thing" terfex said with power core juice dripping from his mouth. Netro was walking with Terfex while terfex was dripping with core juice as Netro couldn't help but feel disgusted but also wanted to laugh, terfex was always the goofy, nonchalant boring but funny exo, he hardly remembers his human life, but happens to be filled with life full of goofiness, but being the helpful guy that he is, Netro trusts Terfex with Neyxtou, since terfex has been nothing but an exo his whole existence, maybe terfex again should be the first thing Neyxtou sees when he finally is finished, but Netro was highly unsure with what was to come, he felt scared of the same outcome happening, but he knew that this time was different and he didn't want to repeat the past again. Netro lead terfex inside as everything was again dark and filled with light blue neon lights connecting to Neyxtou's body, as terfex was smiling, and was jumping around excitedly "this robot looks amazing, no hard feelings but, i think this one is about better than the other ones you've made so far" terfex said as Netro nodded "he is, and the last one too" Netro said softly as terfex looked at Netro as you could see in his eyes, Netro felt broken still about everything thats happened- but then, terfex put his hand on his shoulder "you know, you think too much on the past, look at what you've done now, you gotten better, one robot is all you need, who needs a tone anyway" terfex said smiling and chuckling as Netro agreed "yeah your right, who needs a tone when i got this one right here, just waiting to see the light of day" Netro said he then went up to neyxtou, gave it a small side hug and than he spoke "Neyxtou, this is terfex, he's gonna be your bodyguard for tonight, he's gonna make sure your gonna be okay here" netro said as terfex frowned "i don't know about bodyguard, i'm not built for it, but i'll for sure keep watch on him" terfex said jokingly as netro chuckled "maybe if your lucky, you might see him move, he likes to move" Netro said as terfex looked at the robot "he moves" terfex said very interested in the robot, "did thunter ever move during development" terfex asked as Netro nodded to no, for all he knows during the development of thunter, in all stages he's never moved once until movement was coded into him but this one seemed to already know how to move, "he's different" Terfex said sensing something from this robot "just by looking at him through my exo eyes, even i can sense some energy from this one" terfex said wanting to feel the robot but stopped himself. Terfex checked out the entire robot's body, wanting to know what made him so special, Netro seen what he was doing and then he smirked "oh yeah, what kind of energy are you feeling" Netro said teasing as terfex then went ahead and pointed out the crotch "Definitely not the private parts" Terfex said laughing while looking at the robots vulnerability as then Netro blind raged "HEY, KEEP YOUR EYES AT HIS LEVEL YOU HEAR" He said while Terfex nodded.after a while Netro knew that he needed to leave, Netro than tossed the keys to terfex as he Catched them, "oh yeah, you gotta go do you" Terfex said sitting down on the chair "do one night for me and i'll give you all the power cores you want" Netro said as Terfex eyes turned into hearts "OKAY, I'll make sure he's safe and sound, and don't worry, i won't eat him" terfex said winking as Netro frowned "keep your pervy hands to yourself" Netro said as Terfex nodded in a sweat dropped personality "geeze, i was joking man" Terfex said calmly as Netro then left, Terfex then turned too the robot Neyxtou "you have a sense of humor right" Terfex said as the room was silent while then he spoke to himself "i hope he has a sense of humor" terfex muffled to himself.The Next Morning, July, 24, 2029. It was a Tuesday, Neyxtou was in the lab, as the robot suddenly woken up and then he spoke "what does dreaming feel like" Neyxtou said as Netro smiled and tried to explain, but then a weird big creature came in from the lab and destroyed everything, and then went for Neyxtou as Netro tried using his powers but he couldn't, he then tried to shield Neyxtou but he was no where to be seen as he then tried looking into his surroundings but neyxtou was no where, Netro was running trying to find him, he was breathing heavy, it felt like everything clouding over him, like a fog, everything now turned pitch black like the surrounding was holding and pulling him back, as he then screamed "NO NOT AGAIN" Netro said crying and yelling, as someone yelled beside him "ARE YOU GONNA WHINE OR FIGHT FOR IT" it said in a deep demeanor tone as his eyes looked up then his alarm went off, as he screamed loud jerking him self up, he got out of the bed filled with anxiety, he then turned his eyes digitally blue as he made sure his powers were still with him, he didn't know what the dream was, it felt strange, like a nightmare, he refused to think anything of it, Afterall dreams and reality are completely different.After he settled down he then opened the blinds and it was morning, the birds chirping while people outside chatting and going to work, he then looked at the time and it was 7:30 am, "well at least I'm not late" he said as he got ready for the meeting. During the meeting, there were these guys sitting by the governor, while he had a lawyer and his sister beside him, her arms folded, locked in to what these people wanted to say and these guys known as the R.J.I, they were discussing a few details and trouble issues to, "And here i thought he was done playing with fire" the man said, he glanced up at Netro, wearing a tight suit and glasses while walking with his hands in his pocket, "you know, seeing you here pisses me off" he said as Netros eyes widened surprised, he was standing over Netro "yeah, fancy seeing you here Ikemari Yarazo" Netro said as he clenched his fists, him and netro have never seen eye to eye, even this time around the aura between these two was fuming as the lady then let out a scoff "Ahem" she said as both of them looked at the lady "so, shall we begin than" she said as then the man smiled and turned toward netro "your not winning this case, plead all you want" the man said walking away smirking with an attitude. He went to go sit on his side of the table and starred down Netro.then the government of Japan spoke "during 2020 the last meeting we had, was an agreement to make sure that all robots were preserved under the restriction of first law given that robots must follow the orders given to people or by people" the government said explaining the details about robots ruling to exist, Netro was than sort of panicking a bit as then roxy tapped his shoulder "everything will be okay" she whispered as then the old man went on "we agreed your cooperation Exonieer would follow these terms and conditions but given the circumstances, it has come to our attention that we want to part ways with Exonieer, it has approximately 1 month to shut down if the ruling goes to the other side, if you like to plead your case in doing so will result in having your company Vanquish and continue in such acts but following a new extended agreement, if the agreement is breached it will result in a termination of the contract, do you under stand Mr Shyito" the old man said as Netro eyes zoned out thinking of everything the man just said, it felt like his gut was stuck by a tuck was then netro nodded "Yes, Sir" he said "now Mr Yarazo would you like to give plead your case" he said "yes actually i would" Yarazo said getting up and walking back and forth "it has come to my attention that Netro here knew what he was getting himself into yes, is that correct Mr Shyito" he said as Netro looked down not wanting to look at him but responded "yes i did" He responded with a firm tone "So then you know the consequences" he said walking back and forth "So why would you bother to keep making your so called life less machine" Yarazo said as the governor spoke "Mr Yarazo, if your not gonna plead your case but antagonize the boy, this meeting will be over, please keep it civil" the governor said as Netro then got up and responded "my reasons for continuing on this act, is not because-" Netro was interupted "Because what, You know how many people were deceased because of your actions, kids, families, fathers, Mothers, That Blood Is on your hands, all because what, Machines, and you still want to act like it won't happen again" the man said pressing the matter onto Netro as he than zoned out with anxiety "This whole meeting, all because of this boy to plead his case, he should be shut down no questions asked" the man sat down "listen we agreed to not let the authorities get involved, we agreed if one or the other pleads there reasoning will get there way, we both know it'll save us alot of time" the governor said as Mr Yarazo kept going as he pulled up a screen "this massacre, that robot right there, took out many civilians" he said Mr Yarazo said as then Roxy spoke up "Mr Yarazo, i get your point of view in all this but, it wasn't our fault, Mothra was the one under the control of our robot, we did everything we could" roxy pointed out the obvious as then Yarazo responded "such an invalid argument, yes don't get me wrong, Mothra was a threat but none of that would've happened if he didn't make this robot so venerable to such threats" Mr Yarazo said with a firm voice as roxy got her blood boiling as she felt the man was in denial or delusional with this situation, she tried to speak but then Netro cut her off "Don't, just don't" he said already stressed out of the arguments made towards the situation "Son would you like to plead your case" the governor said as the man kept rambling on as then governor was then annoyed "Mr Yarazo, Shut up, let the boy talk, you've said enough" the old man said.Netro was zoned out than was now thinking, what if the guys right, he took no responsibility against those that were lost due to the robot he created and only try to do right by trying to fix his mistake- but didn't thinking nothing of it after that, maybe making neyxtou was a way to cope with what happened, as he then thought about Neyxtou, and now wondered if it was even a right thing to even go forward with this case.then Mr Yarazo spoke "That's what i thought, So what's it gonna be, shutting down, or being shut down by the authorities" Mr Yarazo said in a mean aggressive tone.Netro couldn't think of what to say, he wanted to speak up, but he just couldn't, he felt tongue tide, and everything was hitting him all at once, he couldn't come up with a solution, to resolve this case, he wanted to let his man win, he felt that he was right, making more robots should be left in the dirt.the room was silent, everyone waited for Netro to talk, to give his side for them to understand, but he can't, he then close his eyes wishing it was just over and done with- "i-" he said trying to speak "i-" Netro said trying get his words across, but he just couldn't.then while his eyes were closed, he than saw neyxtou. The robot put his hands on his shoulder "everything will be okay" the robot said softly comforting Netro.Then netro opened his eyes as he heard those exact words before, the day he wanted to smash up everything in his office, the day he lost Thunter.the robot spoke those exact words right to him before he wanted to give up and destroy the robot.then Netro looked down, tears dripping onto the table as his face was covered, he then wiped his face and spoke."it was everything to me" netro said speaking as the whole room looked at him, listening waiting for him to talk "when i first constructed him, it felt like a work of art, being able to make something like that was always the vision i saw, but-" netro said softly facing down, he than took time to clear his throat."and my robot you like to call a machine, his name was Thunter, and when i made him, he was not only my creation, but my friend, he was everyone's friend, if he was in this room right now he would've been shy to see you all" he said as his voice was raw but still went on "those lives i do feel sorry, and i do feel the loss on both my end and on the people" he said softly "Mothra" he inhaled "was after me and my robot, i tried my best to keep him safe, but what do you know, you weren't there, where were you, hiding, trying to keep safe, while i put my life out there to try and safe my robot, and even if it was out of my control, at the very least i stopped my robot from causing anymore harm, to others and to himself" Netro said while he then looked up "do i want to keep making robots for the world, no, do i want to make one for myself yes" Netro said then walking back and forth "i just want a second chance" he said as he stopped talking as then one of the R.J.I woman spoke "a second chance, what makes you think, this time around would be any different, if you decide to make another robot" the woman said as Mr Yarazo rolled his eyes as he couldn't believe what he was hearing."going forth with it, is making sure im not repeating the same mistake again, and this time, i would make the robot more efficient, more aware" Netro said as he explained the details with what he wants to do this time around as Mr Yarazo was done hearing the plans of Netro, all he cared about was making sure Netro gets shut down."and what if the plan fails and it becomes another disaster such as your thunter, what then, your gonna blame it on your failed ways to meet up those standards" Mr Yarazo said "you heard the boy, he wants a robot to have human intelligence, wouldn't it be strange to have one being put in our society living and it gains the ability to conquer the human race" he said as he had everyone in the room questioning, as then Netro felt he was losing the battle as everyone was sort've leaning towards Yarazo response as then the governor spoke "how would you orchestrate this plan of yours Mr Shyito if this was set in motion" the governor said wanting to know more as Netro spoke "no sleep, no distractions, the right people, maintenance, eyes, all eyes everyday on this robot" he said as everyone was variated by the response, "so you want the workers to maintain this robot as much as they can correct" Mr Yarazo Responded as Netro nodded "so wanting to work the employees to death so you can make your robot, is excellent strategy" he said as he was being sarcastic and tired of the back and forth.after a whole day they finally come to an agreement. "everyone stand up" the governor said as they all stand while Netro clenched his fist while roxy stood beside him "don't worry, I'm by your side all the way" she said, as Netro smiled that he did all that he could, and while he waited for the governor to speak, he still felt this plague of emptiness"by this time" the old man said as Netro prepared for the worst, "we find the defendant" he said as netro waited "guilty" the governor said,Netro was quiet as his sister hugged him "im sorry" she said as Netro nodded "its okay" he said "Exonieer by all means has a month to shut down, and if you refuse, all legal action will be taken, is that understood Netro" he said as Netro nodded "Yes sir" Netro said looking down but also looking directly at him "This conference is over" the governor said.It was then the evening, Netro sitting right beside his sister roxy "If only we saw this coming" She said as Netro shook away "no, he's right, maybe, it's best if i take a step back, shutting down is the only way to do that, and for Neyxtou, i guess i will have to scrap him" Netro said as roxy felt terribly sad as Netro looked down "Netro you were almost done to, I'm so sorry" Roxy then hugged Netro as he was then crying as he buried his face on her shoulder.Netro and Roxy got back to the facility, "lets go in and tell everyone to pack up and leave" he said in a defeated tone as then Roxy noticed something "hey, who was watching the robot last night" she asked concerned thought to himself, then remembered "oh Terfex, he came looking for a power core and was munching on a lot of it too, his mouth was covered up in it and everything" he said as she than pointed at the door being slightly open, then roxy and Netro both looked at each other.Netro barged into the main room to see everything was ruined, Netro looked around and Neyxtou was gone, and the thought of the robot turning evil made him scared, he than zoned out, thinking what he had done, thinking that he might've failed again, Roxy was right behind him, she looked at the place too but then she spotted a desk on top of Terfex knocked out.she quickly ran to Terfex and then she yelled "NETRO, TERFEX" She said as he snapped out of it as he used his mind hacking abilities and deleted the desk, an hour later terfex than woke up and coughed as Netro spoke "did Neyxtou do this" he asked as terfex spoke "you weren't wrong when you said this robot could move" terfex said as Netro freaked out walking back and forth "where did he go" Netro asked as terfex spoke "he accidently touched something, and he fell over i dont know what happened but, an explosion happened" he said as Netro eyes widened "wait, so he didn't try to destroy this place" he asked as Terfex spoke "no he didn't, what your thinking right now isn't what you think" terfex said as he was worried "Netro" he said "he turned himself on" terfex said really concerned as Netro began to worry "where could he have gone" Netro said looking around to see what might've caused the explosion to happened the way that it did, he then caught his eyes on the power core juice "you dim wit, you brung power core juice into my lab, it override the circuit's" Netro said pulling terfex close to him as terfex looked away "Look i apologize I'm sorry, I'll do anything to help right now" terfex said guilty of the situation as Netro folded his arms, "ugh, i knew it was too good to trust you" Netro said stressed out even more, "so then where did he go brother" Roxy asked also worried, this is the first time this has happened and they didn't know what to do.then he thought to himself, "wait, the antenna that i built into him, i can track where he is" he said as he than went into the computer, after awhile, he managed to find out where he went, than he froze and dropped the headphones as roxy was concerned "what, where is he" roxy asked as she looked on the computer and she covered her mouth, as then Netro went straight to Terfex "before the explosion happened what did you see" Netro said curious as he shook Terfex "i saw like something, it was hard to explain, it felt more like a wormhole or something" he said as roxy then looked at the data, "that's impossible, to create a wormhole you would need alot of energy, Negative Energy to be exact, and exotic matter" roxy pointed out as Netro than face palmed "whatever went on in this room, it worked, but now look" Netro said defeated even more "Neyxtou" Netro said worried "he's in another universe" he said as his emotions went wild, while Terfex and Roxy were left completely speechless, seeing the signal coming from the computer
