Sadly only he thought so...
Seeing this situation the mild lady threw caution to the air and tried to cast some healing spells on the kid which rapidly healed his wounds.
"He is okay" The mild fair skinned lady said
*Bam*
A Punch sent the dungeon guardian embedded deeply into the wall with his great sword shattered upon impact.
He was slow to react but the great sword saved him.
"Not only did you capture him, but you also injured him and held him hostage, be glad he wasn't dead, at least you got to preserve your shelter" The boorish lady said after attacking.
Seth couldn't understand the turn of events
The lady posed to unleash a second strike as the other dragged the kid away.
Seth called in the elite shade for assistance.
The room temperature seemed to be rising as her hair was instantly dyed at the hem red.
Halfway through the lady and kid stopped running and this was also noticed by the boorish lady.
"Malia I thought I told you to get out of here" The boorish lady said to the healer.
With the dungeon guardian and elite shade on one side and a red head boat on the other side, everywhere was tense and Seth heart was on a rollercoaster.
"There's a problem" Malia said
The red head turned to look at Malia and then the child.
Seth was pissed that in mind battle she had the guts to look away, like she didn't rate his summons at all.
It seemed the elite shade thought so too and pounced on her but was sent flying backward with her turning back.
At the sight of it, Seth thought that well... Her actions were ignorant at the least.
"What is it? " The redhead replied
"He's draining my Mana" At this point, both of their brows squeezed.
They both understood what this meant.
At this point the kid woke up and seeing Malia, he immediately hugged her.
Seth and his summons were still spectators though.
He kept simulating scenarios in his head while giving the dungeon multiple orders subtly.
"Alex, how are you feeling?" Malia asked.
As if remembering something he stepped away from Malia and kept a distance of about 4 meters from them, but a lot ofe distance from his summons.
"It's okay Alex, we'll find a way to get you out" The red head said this time.
Seth questioned their relationship and thought, they were probably siblings, solely because the redhead didn't look like a mother and Malia was too young.
"We cannot take him out anytime soon, his body has already adapted to the environment " Malia said
"What do you mean by that? " The redhead replied.
"Think of it this way, he hasn't learned to control it well enough and this is a Mana filled environment, what do you think will happen once he gets out.
You know his condition and he'll need time to adapt again and probably fall sick again, that is if it doesn't get worse for him and us.
And how long do you think it'll take us to get back home, we both know we can't hold out that long." Malia elaborated.
The redhead clenched her fist tightly and thought of something.
"If only I didn't let him leave my sight" She said
They talked as though the kid wasn't there and the kid seemed to be a mute, as he listened without talking.
Or was it out of respect.
Either way, he didn't care much but found an opening in their conversation which was they had no choice but to leave the boy here.
The redhead raised her head and said to the summons.
"I want to talk to the boss of this dungeon."
Seth didn't need to think another second before declining the request
The summons both shook their head.
The redhead got pissed and started threatening to blow up the place whole.
She even went as far as saying the dungeon core should do the trick to save the boy until they got home.
Malia still had her head down because they both knew the dungeon core wouldn't suffice.
They'd need at least b rank dungeon core.
To Seth, the redhead probably had no fuse and would explode without a warning.
He may have the upper hand now for a negotiation but sadly it was also objectively given.
He'd lose it at being weak and low on Mana.
He ran another contingency with the system before appearing in front of his summons.
"What a coward" The redhead said because he appeared as a hologram and his face blurred out.
"What's your bargain?" Malia said with clenched fist
Instead the dungeon guardian cautiously walked to the kid named Alex who now showed no fear.
Maybe it was because his big sister was here but nevertheless it lightly tapped Alex with his finger and then went back to his position.
Seconds later Seth said
"I can help him"
"We don't need you to help him, just keep him here for a while and I'll consider not obliterating you, in exchange you get to keep your life"
Seth inwardly facepalmed.
This was expected... The misconception was high
"Okay" Seth said
"I volunteer to stay with him" Malia said
"You'd just be giving him more hostages" The redhead replied
"True but I can't lose him again"
"Okay" Seth said
The redhead wasn't happy but before she said anything the hologram disappeared.
Seth had spent no Mana on this extension but felt inconvenient using it.
He made this decision because the system has given him the details of the child.
[Alex hale]
[Loved by Mana]
This little description was able to make him grasp the general knowledge of what illness he had, but like they said, he just had to house them for sometime.
Hopefully they keep their words but he had his own plan that didn't concern them.
Soon enough the redhead left.
The blonde stayed and his summons left them in the room.
He tried staying ignorant of them
