Chen Ke thought to himself as he crushed the soul fire in his hand. This time, the soul didn't scatter but grew increasingly bright in his palm, eventually forming a golden orb enveloping his right hand.

He felt he had grabbed something—a sword hilt.
Chen Ke slowly pulled the weapon out of the orb. A sword hilt wrapped in red ribbon came into view, followed by a cross-like handguard and then a slender blade etched with patterns, identical to the one used by Faralis.
The sword completely emerged from the orb, measuring at least 2 meters. The orb turned into orange specks of light that flickered twice in the air and then vanished without a trace.
At that moment, the weight of the sword suddenly increased manifold. Chen Ke hurriedly used his left hand to assist, but even with both hands tightly gripping the hilt, the sword still clanged to the floor, carving a deep gash.
Why was this sword so heavy?
