"Bro Jiu, I do have a favor to ask of you," Jiang Xiaobai told him about what he needed help with from Ma Jiu.
Ma Jiu patted his chest and said, "Piece of cake! Little bro, just leave it to me. I'll be there on time first thing tomorrow morning," he promised.

Early the next morning, Jiang Xiaobai arrived at Nanwan Lake. After getting there, he checked the time, and there was still a quarter of an hour left until the meeting time he had set with Ma Jiu. A few minutes later, he saw dust rising from the dirt road leading to the village entrance; two cars and a small truck were rapidly approaching.
The vehicles quickly reached the village entrance and stopped there. The person who jumped out of the leading car was none other than Ma Jiu.
"Little bro, I'm not late, am I?" Ma Jiu laughed heartily as he approached.
Jiang Xiaobai smiled and said, "Brother Jiu, you're actually early, ten minutes early."
