Synopsis
in a world where ninja powers reign supreme, Youyu, an unlikely warrior, arrives with an unusual gift—a system that makes him stronger with every drink. As he navigates the turbulent world of Konoha, his drunken swagger and reckless charm quickly gain him fame, fear, and a following. While others train endlessly to master jutsu and hone their chakra, Youyu needs only a bottle to become a force to be reckoned with. His love for drinking and swordplay puts him at odds with fellow shinobi and the village’s strict norms, but his raw, unpredictable power can’t be ignored. From intimidating rivals like Asuma to capturing the attention of the village’s brightest talents, including Kurenai and Rin, Youyu’s presence shakes up the academy and unsettles even the most seasoned ninja. With a mysterious system, a penchant for fighting, and a blade that can cut down enemies before it’s even unsheathed, Youyu’s journey in the shinobi world is anything but ordinary. Will he master his powers, or will his reckless indulgence be his downfall? One thing is certain—when Youyu drinks, things are about to get dangerous.

Chapter 1 - Drinking Makes Me Stronger

Glug, glug, glug—ah!

Sunlight poured into Konoha's Ninja Academy classroom. Hideichi Tanaka, the Chunin instructor for the elite class, was busy writing on the blackboard when he heard the unmistakable sound of someone chugging behind him. A vein pulsed on his forehead as he turned around.

"As a teacher, I know I might get cut down, but I just can't ignore this!" Tanaka roared, glaring at the student behind him. "Youyu! No drinking in class!"

The room fell silent, and everyone turned to look at the figure with a bottle in hand.

"Is… is the teacher crazy? How dare he try to stop Youyu?" one student whispered.

"He must've forgotten about our last teacher, who still goes to the hospital for checkups," another muttered.

"Poor guy. He's definitely getting chopped," a third whispered nervously.

The class collectively held their breath, fearing the consequences of their teacher's outburst.

Glug, glug, glug— Youyu paused mid-drink, his eyes slightly glazed. "Huh? What'd you say?"

Tanaka's face paled as he tried to backtrack. "I-I mean, could you maybe stop drinking just for class? You're still young, and drinking isn't good for your health…"

As he stammered, Tanaka mentally berated himself for his impulsiveness. He knew Youyu was no ordinary student; rumors said he'd been drinking since he was two and had been downing bottles ever since. What's more, Youyu's strength was terrifying. Even the prodigy Kakashi Hatake couldn't defeat him.

Tanaka vividly remembered the day he first took over the class. During introductions, Youyu had introduced himself in a drunken stupor, saying, "My name is Kenshin Youyu. My hobbies? Drinking… and cutting people."

That statement wasn't just for show. The former instructor of the elite class had made the mistake of smashing Youyu's bottle, and Youyu responded by slicing him down in a single strike. The teacher was left physically and psychologically scarred, forced to take extended medical leave.

At the time, Youyu had only been six years old. Now, at eight, who knew how much stronger he'd become?

"Not drink? How is that even possible?" Youyu grinned, raising the bottle to his lips.

Glug, glug, glug—

"Ding! Drinking detected. Kendo comprehension +1."

"Ding! Drinking detected. Chakra +1."

"Ding! Drinking detected. Physique +1."

Yes, Youyu was a traveler from another world, bound to a system called Bacchus. The only requirement? Drink to grow stronger.

What puzzled Youyu, however, was that, besides basic stats like chakra and physique, all his points went toward kendo comprehension. But he didn't mind. After all, cutting people was thrilling.

As Youyu guzzled down his drink, he felt the bottle run dry.

"Huh? Already empty?" He looked at the bottle, trying to focus, but his hands seemed to sway of their own accord.

Let me know if this name fits better!
