Max moved swiftly through the later floors
Floor 75
A vast underwater cavern greeted him on Floor 75. Max before fighting used his bone creation to make a makeshift oxygen cylinder, collecting enough to last a few hours.
The Kraken emerged from the depths, its massive tentacles flailing through the water. Forced to adapt to the unfamiliar terrain, Max used Bone Manipulation to anchor himself against the powerful currents and Lightning Charge to stun the Kraken with jolts of electricity.
After a fierce, prolonged struggle, Max delivered a final blow to the Kraken's central eye, ending the battle. He gained Abyssal Grip, a skill that allowed him to increase his grip strength exponentially, making it difficult for enemies to escape once he locked onto them. He also gained Ocean's Life, a skill allowing him to move in water better than before.
Floor 88
Max entered a room filled with mist and the whisper of voices. Three figures loomed in the fog, the Fates from Norse myth—Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld—each wielding a different aspect of destiny. They attacked by manipulating his perception of time, speeding up and slowing down moments unpredictably.
To counter their abilities, Max used Enhanced Reflexes and Sense, and after a grueling battle, he managed to break through their illusions. As their essence merged with him, he gained Temporal Awareness, giving him a split-second foresight in combat, allowing him to anticipate his enemy's next move.
Floor 99
Finally, on Floor 99, Max faced a towering black dragon, scales shimmering with chaos energy. The beast breathed fire and lightning, each strike powerful enough to incinerate anything in its path. Max used Wind Barrier to shield himself from the flames but to no awail, max body burned as he got skill Pain Resistance. He used Electropoison Blade to counter the dragon's chaotic energy with his own combination of elements.
In a final, decisive move, Max drove his blade into the dragon's heart, its roar shaking the cavern as it collapsed. He absorbed its essence, feeling his power surge, readying himself for the final challenge that lay beyond.
Steeling himself, Max approached the entrance to Floor 100.
