"Your barking is truly grating, Lord Canis," Leon looked up, loudly responding to the threats coming from over ten meters away: ".... What Wolf Pack? I seem to only see a pack of wild dogs without leashes begging for scraps here.
Unfortunately, Longka doesn't have that many bones for you to gnaw, you might as well come back after dinner to beg."
"The impertinent fellow with a sharp tongue, you have rejected my rare kindness and insulted the symbol of my noble surname. I hope when your tongue is pulled out, it can still spout such vulgar words," Canis retorted loudly.
Leon suddenly regretted that Lokhak wasn't by his side; exchanging insults over such a distance, although his brother wasn't quick-witted, where it came to bellowing street curses in a loud voice he was clear enough, and it would save him from having to shout without a megaphone.
"You are mistaken, Lord Canis; the courtesy of the Farolis is for humans, not for mad dogs that invade homes without cause."
