He quickly opened his eyes wide and bent over, which saved him from dropping the heavy weapon from his hands.

The Attendant's face turned slightly red with embarrassment; he initially assumed the young man had an unremarkable appearance and completely hadn't anticipated the Halberd being so heavy. Almost losing grip with one hand was a close call that could have been embarrassing.
Arms clamped around his own Riding Spear, the Attendant grabbed the Halberd with both hands and raised it upright, glancing at Lokhak who was sheepishly scratching his head, then turned and walked into the hall, reflecting in his heart.
