After completing the obsession gift of Glutton Pier, Brian had two choices.
One was the pure Gift Energy, a full fifty points, equivalent to the obsession gifts of eight or nine ordinary people.
The other was a small amount of Gift Energy + a talent for Gluttony.
Thinking of Pier's ghastly appearance, Brian shook his head.
He couldn't imagine himself becoming a several hundred pounds sphere, drooling every day with the desire to eat.

Full of anticipation,
Brian drove off and after returning to the city, he went straight into a fast-food restaurant and feasted.
Half an hour later,
Brian forcibly swallowed the cola that filled his throat, threw away the contact information the waitress had given him into the trash bin, and returned to his car.
