"What's the hardest case to crack?"
In the hallway, Susan waited expectantly for the man on the other end of the phone to answer.
Amidst the pitter-patter of footsteps,
A lethargic voice said, "Random killings without any apparent motive."
Hearing the answer,
Susan was somewhat disappointed, "If you encounter such a case, do you have any ideas on how to solve it?"
"Generally, there is none."
"What about the not-so-general situations?"
"You'd have to ask God about that."
Susan rolled her eyes, "Get lost. If I don't see you tomorrow, I'll put you on a wanted poster—I'm serious, you twisted assessor!"
Saying this, she casually reached out to pet the dog's head that had appeared before her.
Huh?
Dog's head?
Susan turned around sharply and saw at the end of the corridor a tall man leaning against the corner, tilting his head as he watched her.
That bastard Brian actually came back!
