The store owner pushed the door open, not daring to look inside:
"This lady guest, around eleven o'clock last night, arrived alone in her car with a large suitcase and a small dog, and checked into the hostel.
She paid for one day's room fee, but asked me to call her around eight in the morning to remind her to check out.
When the time came today to check out, she didn't answer the phone.
I thought the lady guest was still resting, and since there was a deposit, I didn't go up to disturb her.
Around ten.
She still hadn't come down.
I knocked on the door and found it unlocked, and upon entering, I just... vomited~"
The unfortunate store owner once again covered his mouth, making a retching gesture.
After listening to the information provided by the store owner, Brian put on gloves and shoe covers and pushed the door open.
He hadn't even entered yet.
A strong scent of blood hit him straight in the nose.
Susan frowned.
