He arrived at the office.
Due to a case, everyone arrived earlier than usual, but Brian was the last to arrive.
They were gathered in a circle, chatting excitedly.

Ivan immediately pulled him over, "Buddy, you wouldn't believe what happened last night!"
Brian brushed off his enthusiastic hand, curious, "What happened?"
"It was major!"
Ivan was being mysterious, trying to tease, but then Glenn backstabbed him:
"The FBI received intelligence last night that members of the Original Sect might appear at Maria Beach. They set up a trap there without informing NW, and it led to heavy casualties. In the end, they captured one member from the Original Sect and one escaped."
Ivan glared at Glenn and added, "I heard they even deployed armed helicopters and ships, but I don't know the outcome."
Brian was somewhat surprised.
