He was in dire need of money, and seeking out Li Ying was his true intention.
Li Ying paused when she heard Chen Hai inquire about her grandmother.

"Just recently, the mage her family invited said the same thing."
"After he conducted the ritual, for the first few days, although my grandma couldn't see the strange person anymore, she kept saying that she saw little chicks running around the house."
