Chen Hai had just opened his eyes and still felt dizzy and weak all over.
However, compared to when he had returned from Little Wangping, his physical condition was definitely much improved.
He took out his pager and checked the time on it.
"It's already July 28? I actually slept for three whole days?"
"No wonder I'm so incredibly hungry."
"Luckily, when I checked in here, I gave the landlady plenty of money."
"Otherwise, if I'd stayed locked up in my room for three days without going out, she probably would have barged in by now!"
He straightened his clothes a bit. The room didn't have hot water; Chen Hai washed his face with cold water to clear his mind a bit more.
After looking in the mirror and seeing no abnormalities other than a pale complexion, he opened the door and walked out.
