The service had changed now, from free to paid food.
Thinking it over, Mu Rufeng spoke, "Didn't your train use to provide free food before? Isn't it provided now?"
"Indeed, contractors like bedbugs are all poor ghosts."
The attendant, with a look of disdain, scooped out a portion of something black and mushy from a slightly smaller bucket next to the iron one and handed it to Mu Rufeng.
Mu Rufeng could clearly see that this mushy black mixture also contained some hair and some unidentifiable insects.
There was also that nauseating stench, and it was hard to imagine where this free food came from.
"Stinky, unbearably stinky. How can this be edible?"
"Is this the only food your train provides?" Mu Rufeng asked sternly.
"Hmm? So, you don't want to eat it?" the attendant coldly said.
"Is this fit for human consumption? Is this the kind of service you provide?" Mu Rufeng rebuked.
