This guy probably climbs high every day, doesn't he?
Suddenly, Gao Xin remembered that Su Lei, when introducing his special skills on the beach, had mentioned he was a ranger.
Good Lord, is this guy just a ranger? He's more like an ape-man, isn't he?
"Quick, go!"
Gao Xin gave Su Lei a look, signaling him not to worry about himself and to hurry up with the collar delivery.
Su Lei got the message and dashed towards the gate at full speed.
He didn't need to go into the house to look for a body to get a collar, there were some right at the courtyard entrance.
One was the first dead guy under the lamp, and the other was Cao Yang...
The even better news was that both had been shot in the head!
This saved him the trouble of having to decapitate the corpses just to take off their collars... after all, the strength needed to pry open those collars was extraordinary!
Running swiftly, Su Lei grabbed a collar and, reaching near the gate, flung it as far as he could with a throw.
How far it went, he didn't care; let them go pick it up themselves.
Meanwhile, Gao Xin finally got down to the second floor. He gritted his teeth and slid down, losing balance indeed, and tumbling headlong from the upper floor.
"Beep..."
Gao Xin protected his head, sprained his ankle, fell back, and hit the ground with his back, grimacing in pain and nearly gasping for breath.
He shook his head, opened his eyes, and saw the Silver Hand Youth, standing on the roof of the mansion looking down at him.
"Hiss!"
Gao Xin was shocked and scrambled to sit up.
But before he could stand, a figure landed in front of him, kicking up dirt.
The Silver Hand Youth had jumped down from the fourth floor!
"Tough luck, bro!" Su Lei ran back quickly, saw the scene, his eyes almost bursting with anger and desperation as he yelled.
Everyone knows the consequences of a mouse falling into the hands of a cat... especially a cat as crazed as this one.
"Don't come here! Run!" Gao Xin shouted.
"Quick! Hide in the place we agreed on!"
"Run!"
Hearing this shout, Su Lei's eyes brimmed with tears, and he wished he could rush forward and fight it out.
"Um... Tough luck, bro..." In the end, he clenched his teeth, skirted around, and sped off towards the side of the mansion.
That was the direction Meimei had descended, and just a few steps later, Su Lei was already out of sight from Gao Xin and the old cat's perspective.
"Still concerned about others..." The Silver Hand Youth stepped forward and closed in on Gao Xin's side.
"Wait a second, I have a plan..." Gao Xin said quickly, but the Silver Hand Youth couldn't care less and had already grabbed his cheek!
He knew that in the next second, his head would be blown off.
Gao Xin's heart raced, the pressure of death so terrifying.
But he didn't feel afraid, as if he was too frightened to fear, knowing his own fate, he wasn't scared anymore.
He glared, speaking loudly and quickly, "You don't want 2,400 points?"
This seemed to have an effect, and the silver, cold hand stopped.
Gao Xin's cheeks were pinched, deformed like he was trying to act cute, puckering his mouth.
"Huff hah... Huff hah..." He panted heavily, his violent heartbeat audible.
"2,400 points?" Silver Hand Youth looked at him.
Indeed, this guy was greedy as hell.
Earlier, saying to sell a life for two hundred points wasn't an empty jest, but a true reflection of his feelings.
Quickly, Gao Xin said, "Twenty mice can contribute 2,000 points, and the survival reward for the old cat is 100 points."
"But 2,100 points isn't the maximum an old cat can earn. 2,400 points is, after all, we have 24 players in total."
Some things are understood with just a hint, and this youth was very smart.
Remembering the direction Su Lei had run, he suddenly realized something and looked sharply at the courtyard entrance.
He saw three Radiation warriors, no longer fighting amongst themselves, standing coldly outside the gate, their breaths furious, anger overflowing, yet with an excitement as if they were 'finally turning the tables.'
His eyesight was excellent; he noticed collars around all three necks.
Without even thinking, he knew two of them were mouse collars because the dog collar was in his possession.
"You, bastard!" the Silver Hand Youth said with an icy expression, realizing that he had been careless.
He thought that by ambushing Cao Yang and regaining two dog collars, everything was secure, certain that the two dogs were doomed.
But in reality, those weren't two dogs, they were two identity-less players!
So, regardless of whether the old dog could become a mouse or not, these two certainly could.
"I should have collected all the collars from the mice I hunted," the Silver Hand Youth said, angry with himself. He could have foreseen this if he had seriously considered what the mouse players might do.
But he didn't take the mice seriously at all; to him, they were just moving redemption tickets.
Especially that bald man who said he would give him 90 points after getting the reward; the man's greedy and foolish face was simply laughable.
He agreed offhandedly while the other was tearfully grateful and ecstatic.
Yet, he hadn't anticipated that there was a group of mice that dared to strike while he was in control of the situation, that didn't hide away properly, and that even dared to manipulate him!
He had let his guard down and underestimated the courage of the mouse players.
