Chapter 40 - Chapter 14 The Greediest Playing Method

"You deserve to die!"

Contempt from the Silver Hand Youth towards the Rat forced him to soon face three formidable enemies, filling him with anger towards the Rat who had caused it all.

The Rat wasn't hiding properly and even dared to show itself?

Seeing his murderous intent, Gao Xin quickly said, "Have you forgotten? The Rat can enter the game right from the start!"

Hearing this, the Silver Hand Youth's expression became stern as he looked again towards the gate.

He saw the three Radiations anxiously waiting, the shorter one occasionally glancing at his watch...

Gao Xin was speechless: Look at your dog-brained watch! Just come in and do the cat.

Did those two 'super rats' not realize they were wearing Rat collars? Or had they forgotten that Rats didn't have to wait for thirty minutes to enter? Or were they unsure if they could be Rats and still hesitating whether to come in or not?

However, for the current him, their not coming in was a good thing.

If those two barged in now, the Silver Hand Youth probably wouldn't care what he said and would kill him first, then face the two of them.

It was precisely because they were still waiting outside that Gao Xin had the chance to talk.

"I have plenty of redemption tickets, old cat; we agreed to cooperate, and I will cooperate," he said.

"Cats are the best partners for Rats, you should understand that."

Gao Xin boasted first, afraid that Silver Hand might strangle him on a whim.

Fortunately, Gao Xin didn't wear a prison uniform from the start, unlike Cao Yang who was definitely penniless; Silver Hand wasted a couple of words on Cao Yang, whereas he could say a bit more.

Gao Xin didn't dare delay and quickly said, "Right now, the two super rats outside are so agitated by you that they haven't realized they can come in, but it's only a matter of time."

"What are you going to do when those three come in and attack? Now, you should use me to restrain the other party."

Gao Xin spoke rapidly, with utter shamelessness.

So the Silver Hand Youth didn't rush, and, playing with Gao Xin's head, he sneered, "I am sure to win a one-on-one fight, I'm not afraid of two against one, and even if three come at once, it will just be a bit more troublesome."

"You, a glass man, are fit to restrain them?"

Inwardly, Gao Xin snickered; he didn't know who had been beaten into a blood dumpling before!

Not to mention three at once, even two might be too much for him to withstand.

"Yes, yes, your prowess is witnessed by all, but now there's a better way that not only lets you defeat them one by one but could also earn you a full 2400 redemption tickets!" Gao Xin said.

The Silver Hand Youth disdainfully said, "The 2400 points you mentioned, I would've figured them out sooner or later, just by defeating them and then forcibly switching to a Rat identity to kill for the reward."

"As for taking them down one by one? With your help?"

Gao Xin confidently said, "It's simple, you wear a Rat collar, and give me the Cat collar."

"Hm? What did you say?" The Silver Hand Youth grinned menacingly, and Gao Xin's skull creaked in his grasp.

His aura was oppressive, and right there, Gao Xin truly felt like a Rat facing a Cat, his hair standing on end in terror!

Especially at such a close distance, Gao Xin's feeling was profound; a certain sense of fear seemed to materialize, hitting him as if he faced a natural predator!

The natural predator of humans! This turned his mind into mush, with various physiological reactions interfering with his thoughts.

Gao Xin struggled to say, "Don't cling to this identity!"

"Becoming a Cat, it's meaningless for me, isn't it?"

"Likewise, you're so strong, what difference does it make if you become a Rat?"

The Silver Hand Youth released his grip and began to think seriously.

Gao Xin crashed to the ground, gasping for air, feeling the terrifying sensation dissipate somewhat.

He pinched his thigh, forcing himself to calm down and said, "Cats and Dogs are sworn enemies, but what if you are not a Cat? Then their first target would still have to be finding the Cat!"

"Otherwise, killing you would only serve to vent their anger; they'd be missing out on 100 redemption tickets for nothing."

"Perhaps you think those two hate you so much, they will surely kill you first."

"But even if they come in and target you first, that big-bearded man won't. He has had the Dog identity from the start, the only threat to his life being the other two trying to snatch his identity."

"So as long as you're not the Cat, the big-bearded man certainly won't join forces with those two against you, he will first look for the Cat."

"And about those brothers, as much as they seem to hate you, they also want redemption tickets! Why would they let the big-bearded man find the Cat collar and go on a killing spree? They'd be left to fight you to the death, gaining nothing. Wouldn't that be helping the big-bearded man?"

"If I were those brothers, at most I'd leave one person to restrain you, while the other would go find the Cat, to keep the big-bearded man in check and retain the chance to become the Cat first."

The Silver Hand narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "Little Rat, you sure make good calculations, you actually want to be the Cat?"

Gao Xin earnestly replied, "I don't want to be the Cat, but I have no other choice now that I've fallen into your hands. If I can't serve you, I'll have to die right now."

"Being so weak, what's the point of becoming the Cat? I truly want to cooperate with you; I'm talking about the real play of the old Cat in this game."

"The real gameplay of the old Cat?" The Silver Hand raised an eyebrow.

Gao Xin nodded and said, "Once they realize the Cat collar isn't on you, they'll know you've hidden it."

"Anyway, there are so many rats and they're all hiding, it won't be so simple to find them."

"You give me the Cat collar, and I hide as well. This can tie up two of them to search for me, and you will have a chance to face one-on-one."
