Gao Xin sighed, "The first person I killed."
Yao Junyan patted his head, "Poor child, that must have been hard on you."
No one understood Gao Xin better than she and Old Gao did. They had taught him kindness and humanity since he was a child. Forcing him to kill was really a last resort.
Yao Junyan sighed, "Child, you have to walk your own path; we can't help you much."
She then pointed at Silver Hand, "He is your true imaginary companion, completely fashioned from your imagination and possessing all your abilities."
"While your father and I were shaped from memories, we have our own ways of thinking. At most, we can offer you strategies, keep you company when you're in pain, and encourage you."
Gao Xin, his eyes reddening, nodded. He wouldn't easily change the elders.
The elders were already the most realistic memories sculpted; there was no need for excessive alterations.
