Hello kind readers. It has been a while since I last updated this fic.
Rest assured I am still working on this fic.
I've been delving into a lot of research and planning, recorrecting or readjusting things to make a more solid story.
I want to write longer chapters but as it is stands, the way I wrote the first few chapters has made it difficult to write long chapters from how it was formatted.
So I decided to completely rework this fic.
Make it less cringe, more natural and realistic.
I hope this is ok with you guys.
The first chapter I'm currently writing is going to be a bit of a behemoth as it will be covering a lot of Light's early life.
This will help me establish who Light is in this fic, and how people view him without rushing it.
Light will also be starting Junior high at 12. In my initial research I thought that Light would start school at age 13 as if you turn 12 before the school year start then you start the next year. But while reading through the Death Note Timeline it says that Light was in Junior high at age 12.
I'm also using the first chapter to help establish Light's growth in his skills.
I just, want this fic to be more than a quick and easy success story.
I want to write about Light putting in effort, and having him barely do anything for 13 years of his life feels counterproductive.
So yeah. Sorry for anyone who was enjoying and hoping for the current fic to continue from where it was left off at.
