All he could see in sight was a vast expanse of darkness. He had no idea how long he had been floating within, but, he certainly wouldn't doubt if he was told he had been there for a hundred years.
Yeah. A hundred years.
Within this weird state, time seemed to loose all concept. Not only time, even his ability to feel emotions slowly crawled out of him and before long, he became unfeeling.
This weird state continued for a long time but eventually, his eyelids started to quiver. And before long, amidst his blurry vision, he could see the azure cracked sky, illuminating the ground beneath it with a bright azure shade.
A shade that was both eerie yet familiar.
"Ugh."
He groaned slightly, a light surge of pain coursing through every fiber of his being.
