"This isn't it either... Damn it, which house is Dio's?"
Standing in the middle of Cairo's city center, Zuke looked at the house in front of him, a cheap hat from a roadside stall covering most of his face, his expression filled with frustration.
After dealing with Vanilla Ice, Zuke began searching for Dio's residence.
But once he started, he realized there were so many similar houses in the city center of Cairo!
To avoid being recognized by Enya, Zuke wore the hat, casting a shadow over most of his face.
This way, Dio's other subordinates, who only knew him as an "Asian boy," wouldn't recognize him.
But even with a good disguise, it didn't mean much, as his main mission wasn't "hide from Dio's minions for four hours" — it was to defeat Dio.
The problem was that he'd already spent hours wandering around Cairo's city center.
Seeing that the eight hours in JoJo's world were almost up, he still hadn't found Dio's house.
It couldn't be helped; there were too many similar-looking houses in central Cairo. Dio's mansion style wasn't particularly unique, and the streets were lined with similar houses.
And Zuke couldn't confirm which houses actually had Dio inside. The only thing he could do was to stealthily use his "Blackbird: Void Miasma" ability to sneak in and check.
Since "Blackbird: Void Miasma" deletes space while moving through it, he had to control it carefully to avoid accidentally removing any load-bearing beams.
After all, he was here to find Dio, not to demolish the Cairo city center.
With such a cautious infiltration approach, his progress was predictably slow.
After more than three hours of searching, Zuke had only managed to inspect about ten houses that looked promising, none of which had any sign of Dio.
In the original story, the main characters found Dio's house with the help of a perceptive dog, Iggy.
But Zuke didn't have a dog's nose or the Joestar bloodline, which could sense Dio's presence from afar, so searching for Dio's mansion was driving him crazy.
Zuke was now incredibly eager to eliminate Dio.
One reason was to complete the main mission and bring his Blackbird out with its full strength.
Another was his envy of Dio's Stand, The World.
Time Stop, though capped at nine seconds in the original story, is a powerful ability in battle.
In Dragon Ball, time-stopping is also a valuable skill for fighting above one's level. Guldo of the Ginyu Force used a few seconds of time-stopping to mix in with elite warriors despite his low power level.
In Dragon Ball Super, Hit from Universe 6 relied on his "Time Skip," which affected only fractions of a second, to become his universe's most feared assassin. It's clear how strong this ability is.
After all, this is a power from a battle manga, not a comedy series—otherwise, Time Stop would probably have no limits.
Now that Zuke knew Blackbird could gain powers by devouring others' fragments, he definitely planned to consume Dio's Stand, The World.
As for consuming Dio's own fragments... Zuke thought about it and decided against it.
Dio's powers come from his vampiric abilities, and if Blackbird consumed it, it would probably gain only some extra regenerative power and the weakness of sunlight.
While a vampire's body is stronger than an ordinary human's, it's insignificant for Zuke, who now has Dragon Ball as his foundation.
Besides The World, Zuke also wanted to devour some of the abilities of Dio's other subordinates' Stands.
For example, the mist-like Stand, Justice, which Enya, the woman who sold him the arrow, wielded. He'd quite like to have that power.
However, he'd just visited the market, only to find Enya's shop abandoned.
She must have hurried off to meet Dio after his orders. After all, her connection to Vanilla Ice's defeat wasn't insignificant.
Dio might have summoned her to question her or extract more information.
"But without finding Dio's mansion, all of this is useless."
Zuke sighed deeply, standing in the middle of the street.
Who would have thought that the main obstacle to defeating Dio wouldn't be strength but finding him?
With his immense power and the space-deletion ability of Void Miasma, Zuke could definitely eliminate Dio, but he just couldn't find him.
"Time is running out. In just over ten minutes, all my efforts here will go to waste. I can't wait until everything I've earned goes to zero before facing Dio."
With a pained expression, Zuke looked at the timer on his interface, showing he'd been playing for 7 hours and 47 minutes.
In 13 minutes, he would trigger the anti-addiction system, which would erase all his progress in this world.
Although the anti-addiction system wouldn't force him to leave, he couldn't confront Dio with a zero-gain debuff.
Defeating Dio and then losing the mission because of a zero-sync penalty would be a huge loss.
"Forget it; I don't have enough time left to search another house."
After standing there for a moment, Zuke decided to exit this task world.
"If I happened to find Dio in the next house, it would be even more troublesome, and there might not be enough time to kill him."
Though exiting now would mean only a 50% synchronization rate with JoJo's world, taking only half of Blackbird's power, it was still enough.
Even with only half of its strength and "Void Miasma," Blackbird would be a strong ally.
He wanted JoJo's Stand power mainly to enhance his mental and spiritual strength, so he'd achieved his goal.
Once he was out, he should be able to see evil spirits, and with Blackbird's help, he'd be able to deal with them.
Maybe he could even help Miko Yotsuya clear some of the spirits haunting her school, so she wouldn't have to live in fear.
Shin was always there to look out for his classmates.
