Chapter -2: Seeds of Strength

The village of Hikari was peaceful, its quiet days nestled under the shadow of mountains and fields of rice stretching as far as the eye could see. Akiko was only 10 years old, a lively child with boundless energy and a mischievous smile. She was a free spirit, always running through the fields, climbing trees, and exploring the hidden nooks of her village. But while her spirit was bright, her heart carried a longing to be strong—like the warriors she'd heard tales about from her elders.

One afternoon, Akiko was exploring the edge of the village with her best friend, Hana. They stumbled upon an older man named Master Jiro, who was well-known as a retired warrior, rumored to have fought in countless battles. His presence was both intimidating and fascinating to the village children, yet few ever dared to speak with him.

But Akiko wasn't afraid. She approached him and asked boldly, "Will you teach me how to be strong like you?"

Jiro looked down at her with a raised brow. "Strength isn't a game, child. It's not just about fighting; it's about understanding who you are and the sacrifices that come with it."

Akiko nodded, her young face set with determination. "I don't care. I want to protect my friends and my village. I want to be someone who can help others."

Moved by her sincerity, Jiro reluctantly agreed to teach her, though he warned her the journey would be difficult. So, every morning before dawn, Akiko met Jiro at the outskirts of the village, where he taught her the basics of strength, discipline, and humility.

As days turned into years, Akiko's once-playful mornings became rigorous training sessions. She learned to wield simple wooden weapons, to focus her mind, and to channel her inner energy. While most of the other children played and laughed, Akiko spent her days learning and training, feeling a sense of purpose grow within her.

Despite the trials, Akiko was steadfast. She was no longer just a child dreaming of strength—she was becoming strong, bit by bit, guided by a mentor who believed in her potential.
