Furios took a step forward, confusion spreading across his face. "How… how is he back so soon?" He turned to Lucifer, his flames flickering uncertainly. "Wasn't he supposed to stay for thirty years?"
Lucifer's smirk deepened as he met Furios's gaze. "He did," he said, his voice calm and condescending. "Thirty years passed for him in the Abyss. For us, it's only been thirty seconds. That's how the Abyss works. Time there moves at a crawl for the unfortunate souls sent inside."
Furios blinked, his flames dimming. "Thirty years... in seconds?" he whispered, glancing at Arrogantus, who looked utterly broken. "That's why you didn't hesitate to punish us for so long. For you, it's only seconds after you punish us, and we come back to serve you with even more fear."
Lucifer's wings shifted, and he started to chant the spell for the Abyss once again.
"Atruum vincula Furios, decem annos en abyssum, hikari no naka, eien ni sokubaku sareru!"
