The whole week, Akame has been busy dealing with the aftermaths of the war.
Dealing with the casualty reports, intelligence around the other villages, sending messages to the other Kages for a Kage summit, going through the details of the location from where the tailed beasts were captured, which ones were killed, and most importantly, budget.
Konoha is very stable economically. Having the richest plains meant that food was always enough and cheap. And there were enough mines so that Konoha wouldn't have to rely on other countries for their weapons.
But, the problem is, that all that wealth is boarded by the Daimyo and nobles. While Daimyo hasn't caused any trouble with First and Second Hokage, and would not cause trouble in her reign as well, Konoha can't be overly reliant on those useless Daimyo and nobles. What if her successor isn't as strong or strong willed as her?
Currently, there are only two sources of income for Konoha. One is Daimyo's funding, and the other is tax from the missions of Konoha ninjas.
The income taxes of civilians, banks, and all such financial institutions are under the control of Daimyo.
First things first, she will have to create a bank of Konoha, continue getting the war-time funding to ensure that civilian ninjas grow, create a medical institution to make sure each ninja squad has a medical ninja, and simply increasing the graduation age will lead to needing more funds.
Just farming, mining, and killing can't be the only thing to increase economy. She will have to 'convince' Daimyo to give more financial rights to Konoha.
But, it will undoubtedly also have a negative effect. The nobles and Daimyo will start reducing their commissions.
Just killing them hastily is not a solution. Afterall, if she kills them, she will get a bad name, Konoha will get a bad name, and there will not be sufficient people to manage the whole country.
That's why, she will have to first wait for the academy to produce people who can do other tasks besides killing as well.
She sighed. She didn't know that one day, she will be using her Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and Shadow Clones in combination to defeat paperwork.
By now, her Kamui has become Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and she has transplanted her mother's Tsukuyomi into her Tsukuyomi eye. It will also probably take a week to settle down.
Akame's original eyes are stored securely, and her mother's condition has visibly improved after replacing her Mangekyo with a normal 3 tomoe Sharingan.
After all this work is done, she will start working with First Hokage's cells.

The Senju clan head, Senju Iwashi, is a trusted follower of First and Second Hokage. He always follows their wills without questioning.

Did First Hokage awaken Wood Release because of implanting the cells of the previous wielder of Wood Release? No.
Wood Release awakens randomly once some generations.
If we keep recklessly trying to artificially awaken Wood Release, the Senju Clan will die out, and someone capable of awakening it naturally may not be born.
The most powerful thing about First Hokage wasn't Wood Release, but his chakra, being almost as much as the Nine tails itself. So even if someone awakens the Wood Release after many sacrifices, without that much chakra, he or she wouldn't be able to become much strong.
We will not stop the experiments completely. From my thinking, only someone with very strong Yin would be able to handle First Hokage's cells, or someone with their Yang to weak, meaning that they are almost dying.
I will only allow the transplantations on people who are certain to die.
If there is someone like that in your clan, meet me again after a month.
And, though it is rude to say, I think if someone will be able to artificially handle First Hokage's cells, it will be most probable that it will be either Uchiha or Kurama.
My mother's health is continuously declining. And, I need your permission to test Hashirama cells on her.
And no matter who awakens the Wood Release, I will make sure that they take the Senju surname and become a Senju."
Iwashi was at a loss of words.
'Just what did Tobirama-sama see in her to become the Hokage!?'

"Then I will just try to find another way to cure her. Afterall, there is a very high chance that's she might die from the implantation."
Iwashi sighed and sat down on the seat.
Third Hokage's mother, Akane Uchiha was well known within the Senju clan.
After Madara took the leadership of the Uchiha clan after his father died, Akane Uchiha stepped on the battlefield for the first time.
She would spare all the children, use only enough force to knock out the Senjus, and when she was surrounded by many elites of the Senju clan, she unleashed the infamous Kirin.
Yet, she didn't kill those who fled, and just warned them.
"I don't want to fight in this pointless conflict."
Saying that, with thunder roaring in the clouds in the background, as if commanded by her divine words, and she fluttered away by turning into numerous butterflies.
Iwashi himself had survived in that confrontation because she chose to spare them. And he was attracted to her from that moment. He was just a 5 year old kid back then, and when he heard that she had married that Izuna, someone more extreme than Madara, everyone was fearful. And his first crush was over.
Afterall, it was monsoon. If she taught Izuna that jutsu of mass destruction, the situation would have turned in favour of the Uchiha.
Yet, it didn't happen.
So, the Senju clan is very favourable towards the current Uchiha clan head.
Though, there have been some rumours that she wished that she was Madara's sister, so she would throw herself in Hashirama's arms and end the Warring Era. Afterall, Madara wouldn't be able to eliminate his sister, if she was.
He obviously didn't believe those rumours. Afterall, if she really had such thoughts, why would she be friends with Mito-sama?
"So, you are saying that, if Akane-sama actually survives First Hokage's cells, the Uchiha clan head will join the Senju clan?"
"Well, she is preparing to pass on the position of clan head to Kagami once my Hokage ceremony is done. But yes. Afterall, neither the Uchiha, nor the Senju clan is bigger than Konoha. And anyway, Senju and Uchiha clans were founded by the two children of Sage of Six Paths.
