I was sitting in my room with the lights turned off playing on my console. As I was about to lose my parents came home from work which alarmed me to the point i felt like I was asleep "if they come in here I'm gon hear about it." I murmured to myself noticing how my room was in such a mess. I just froze there looking at the paused screen and contemplated my next move "eh,they'll prolly won't reac—" I was interrupted by the sound of shoes hitting the floor heading my direction (klak klak klak) (di-di-di) i heard my door making sounds it couldn't have been the door making that sound on it's own it had to be Mom or Dad, I didn't answer the first time "Flint I know you're in there I'm coming in." he said opening the door. I met his eyes then noticed him squint a little, "Good evening dad." I said preparing myself for the scolding I was going to receive in the next moment "mhmm, I see the you've decorated your room, join us in the lounge will you." he said studying my room as if it was the first time seeing it.
"Sure be there in a sec!" I replied
"Make it faster than a sec."
"Alright." With that I made way to the lounge

"Good evening mom."
"Evening darling." She said looking drained than ever.
The atmosphere in here was chilling,I never new other than the fridge, a pair of eyes staring at me with stern looks on their face could have an effect like this, I grew stiff "do you know why we've called you here?" My dad said interrupting my thoughts "no not really, i mean if this about my room being untidy i can head on ove—" I wondered if I could finish a sentence tonight. "Good,you can get to that in a bit for now your mother and I would like to focus on relaying the details of your going to school."
"Wait,school!?" They kinda caught me of guard there by saying that, although I wasn't surprised as to where this was going I did have to seem shocked.
"Yes honey your father and I looked into a good school for you we hope you'll like it." my mom said
"Yes that's right it was about time we'd done so, the holidays are ending in 2 days although last minute enrollment, we managed to get you to sit for the entrance exams."
"I do appreciate your efforts,I certainly do but I'm going to have to object." as I said that both my parents looked at each other,then i heard my older brother break out in hard laughter apparently he'd snuck in the kitchen without anyone noticing and over heard our conversation I couldn't tell what he heard but what I had voiced definitely earned me a hell of a laugh he seemed to be enjoying this more than one should but if he had planned on listening in on us secretly having a chat about these recent developments,I had set a trap for him with out even knowing it and exposed him. My dad turned his gaze in his direction "Care to share it with us,Adam?"
"Oh,don't mind me I'm just doing me" said my brother heading back to his room.
"Listen Flint we're not asking you if you'd like to go or not you're going whether way ."
"Weren't you supposed to ask me which school I'd like to go to at least, you just went and chose the school of your choice then came and announced it to me,how do you expect me to be okay with that?" They knew I wasn't really fond of school and wanted to stay home just tumbling about the house.
"Young man this for own good staying home and playing games isn't going to do." said my dad harshly
"Alright honey let's calm down." My mom said calmly stepping in to diffuse the situation
I stood up and
"I don't think it's fair that you forced this on me." I was on the verge of braking into a rage,as I said that and thought I had the loudest voice in the room my dad escalated things further "FLINT!!" He rose up from his seat and glared at me menacingly "THIS DECISION IS FINAL!""Honey please relax he pro—""No,no,no have you seen the boys room?!" "He needs to get his act straight,and I think I'm going to start by taking away that thing he spends his whole day playing with,it was mistake buying it" he sounded really displeased having that said that,I had to admit that my careless actions led him to take this stance.
I stood up from my seat in exasperation realizing I wasn't going to win this one I turned on my hill and headed for the front door slamming it on my way out.
"Flint!!!"my mom called out.
I didn't want to be associated with these people at the moment,I didn't know where I was off to but had a few places in mind then decided on making the park my destination as night had fallen just only noticing it now, I had to be a little more alert of my surroundings. As I was about to reach the park i decided to take a few left turns I wanted to gauge the person tailing me making stops at what they thought were hidden places from my view. Irrationally I called out to this follower of mine "hey,I know you're following me,who is it!?"
