The job of an adventurer was one that had enraptured Luan from the moment he heard about it.
These sets of people were fearless, and they fought in the naturally created dungeons where beasts and monsters spawned naturally.
In return, they received merit points which could be used in place of money to spend in any part of the human kingdom.
This seemed like an exaggerated way of payment since different cities used different types of currency, but one had to remember that the job of an adventurer was probably the most dangerous one based on the sheer amounts of deaths that occurred every time a mission was completed.
Of course, there were those who had no casualties at all, but there weren't many.
There were also the dangers of the dungeons themselves.
