Chapter 33 - A pathetic end

"Uplift."

"Earthen pillar."

Zindi's hair whipped about furiously, revealing the amount of wind mana he was forcefully controlling and manipulating at that moment.

At the same time, the earth rumbled as pillars of earth jutted out of the ground before lining up behind the old man.

The two spells were spells that could be cast by anyone who had an affinity for Zindi's two elements, but the scale at which the spell was cast in Zindi's hands was far greater.

Fifty pillars levitated behind Zindi as he locked eyes with the masked figure, whose position had changed into one that gave more leisure.

"If that's all you've got, I will be grossly disappointed in you," the masked figure spoke in an even tone.

"Really? You won't be disappointed then," Zindi replied with a chuckle.

He pointed forward and the fifty odd pillars rushed towards the masked figure, piercing through the air with the ease of a needle piercing a human's bare skin.
