Drawn by an inexplicable urge, Linian stepped into the darkness. The air grew thick, suffocating him as he ventured deeper. The vibrant city faded away, replaced by a chilling silence.
Suddenly, figures emerged from the shadows—menacing figures cloaked in dark robes. "Well, well, what do we have here?" one of them hissed, a twisted grin forming beneath his hood. "A little elf, lost in the wrong part of town."
Before Linian could react, they surrounded him, their presence overwhelming. Panic surged through him as they grabbed him, dragging him into the depths of the alley. "You'll make a fine prize," the leader chuckled, his breath hot against Linian's ear.
