Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: SPARK TENSIONS

*Eunho's Home, Dining Table*

The warm glow of the dinner table lights cast a cozy ambiance, filling the room with a sense of comfort and familiarity. Eunho, her family, and Naein, Eunho's cousin, sat together, sharing a meal and conversation.

Eunho, curious about Naein's unexpected visit, asked, "Unnie, why are you here? What brings you to Seoul?"

Naein, with her signature bright smile, replied, "I'm on a break from Hexagon Entertainment. We're preparing for a huge comeback, and I needed some family time."

Eunho's mother, intrigued, asked, "How's life as a choreographer treating you, Naein-unnie?

Naein took a sip of her tea before responding, "It's hectic, but rewarding. I get to work with talented idols and create mesmerizing performances. But sometimes, it feels suffocating, especially when dealing with demanding managers and tight deadlines."

Eunho leaned in, curiosity getting the better of her. "Unnie, which group are you working with now?"

Naein hesitated for a moment before answering, "Actually, I'm working with group.

It's a secret but...

No worries unnie it will be a secret between us eunho replied.

Uhhh... She take deep breath and spoke "Have you seen the survival show 'boys project 6',we are debuting them as lumina."

Eunho's eyes widened. "Lumina? I've heard of them! Omg I am excited

Naein nodded. "Yes! I was one of the choreographers for the show. Those boys worked incredibly hard to get to where they are."

Eunho's mother asked, "How's the debut preparations going?"

Naein took a sip of her tea. "It's chaotic, but exciting. We're finalizing the album, music videos, and concert plans."

Unnie you know you are the best!I wonder I can meet them

Naein's grin widened, and she raised an eyebrow. "Meet Lumina? I can arrange that, but you have to promise me one thing."

Eunho's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Anything, Unnie!"

Naein leaned in, her voice taking on a serious tone. "You have to promise me you'll keep it a secret

Eunho's curiosity piqued, she nodded eagerly. "I promise, Unnie. I won't tell anyone."

Naein smiled, seeming to consider Eunho's request. "I'll see what I can do. Maybe I can get you backstage passes to their debut concert."

Eunho squealed, hardly containing her excitement.

AT SCHOOL SCENE

Mr.park, the P.E. teacher, stood at the school gate, his whistle around his neck. "Remember, class! Anyone late today will do 10 rounds around the track!"

Eunho sprinted towards the gate, her backpack bouncing behind her. "Oh gosh, I'm late!" she muttered, glancing at her watch.

Just as she dashed through the entrance, Mr. Kim spotted her. "Ah-ah, Eunho! You're late! 10 rounds, now!"

Eunho's heart sank. She hated running.

Yeeess!!mr.park; coming

In a desperate bid to avoid Mr. Kim's wrath, Eunho spotted the school wall and made a split-second decision. She began to climb, her hands and feet scrambling for traction.

I can better climb a wall rather than running

As she struggled, her legs flailed wildly, and her uniform skirt rode up. Eunho's face flushed with embarrassment.

Just as she was about to reach the top, a deep, smooth laugh echoed from behind her.

Eunho turned, still clinging to the wall, and locked eyes with Tae-Oh. His chiseled features and perfectly styled hair made her heart skip a beat.

Tae-Oh's amusement was evident in his sparkling eyes. "Need help?" he asked, his voice was deep as a pacific ocean.

Tae-Oh chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Let me help you. At this rate, it'll take you 10 years to climb that wall."

Eunho's face burned with embarrassment. "I don't need your help."

Tae-Oh shrugged. "Suit yourself. But I'm late too, and climbing this wall is part of my daily routine."

Eunho's eyes widened. "Daily routine?"

Eunho nodded, accepting Tae-Oh's offer.

"I'll climb first."

Tae-Oh raised an eyebrow. "What if you leave leave me alone here? I'll go first."

Eunho's eyes locked onto his, her voice filled with conviction. "You can trust me."

Tae-Oh's gaze held hers, his expression unreadable. But beneath his stoic facade, his heart skipped a beat.

Something in Eunho's words struck a chord within him. No one had ever offered him trust so freely.

Eunho was seeing him with soft gaze but tae-oh

Speak whatever but I will go first he pretended to not be shy with her words

With a subtle nod, Tae-Oh began to climb, his movements fluid and effortless. Eunho followed, her hands and feet finding holds with surprising ease.

As they reached the top, Tae-Oh turned to Eunho, his eyes searching. "Thanks for the trust," he said, his voice low.

Eunho smiled softly. "You're welcome." And then her expressions changed "Now come on pull me up,before we get caught"

Tae-Oh teased, "What if I leave you, Eunho?"

Eunho's eyes flashed. "Shut up! The P.E. teacher is coming. Hold my hand, fast!"

Tae-Oh's grin vanished as he grasped Eunho's hand, pulling her up just as Mr. Kim rounded the corner.

To avoid detection, Tae-Oh yanked Eunho over the wall, and they both tumbled to the ground.

Eunho landed on top of Tae-Oh, their faces inches apart. Their eyes locked, time freezing.

On the other side of the wall, Mr. Kim muttered, "I thought I saw someone..."

Tae-Oh's gaze held Eunho's, his voice barely audible. "You're heavy."

Eunho's cheeks flushed.

As they lay there, Tae-Oh's arms enveloped Eunho, holding her close.

As Eunho tried to get off Tae-Oh, he swiftly stood up, looking away to mask his flushed face. "Hold my hand, let's get out of here," he said nonchalantly.

Eunho reached for his hand, but as she tried to stand, her foot buckled beneath her. A sharp pain shot through her ankle.

Before she could fall, Tae-Oh instinctively wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. Eunho's face buried in his chest, her hands grasping his shirt.

"I...I twisted my ankle," she stammered.

Tae-Oh's expression softened, concern etched on his face. "Does it hurt?"

Eunho nodded, wincing.

Without a word, Tae-Oh scooped her up, cradling her in his arms.

"I've got you," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear.

Eunho's heart skipped a beat as she wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling safe and protected.

"Why....I.....am..what." eunho speak

Shh!shh don't speak let's go.tae-oh replied

As Tae-Oh carried Eunho through the school corridors, every head turned. Girls who had harbored crushes on him now wore disappointed expressions, their hearts sinking.

Some boys whistled and shouted, "Tae-Oh's got a girlfriend!"

Here's the continuation:

Eunho's eyes widened as Jihoon emerged from the crowd, his piercing gaze locking onto the scene.

Tae-Oh's grip on her hand tightened, sensing her unease.

Jihoon's expression remained icy, his eyes scanning the situation before settling on Tae-Oh.

For a moment, the two locked eyes, tension palpable.

Eunho's thoughts raced: What will he think?

But Jihoon's face betrayed no emotion.

Without a word, he turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd.

Eunho exhaled, relief mixed with confusion.

Tae-Oh's gaze lingered on Jihoon's retreating figure before returning to Eunho.

Eunho's friends, Ji-Hyun and Soo-Young, rushed out of their classroom, eyes wide with surprise.

"Eunho! What happened?" Ji-Hyun asked, hurrying alongside Tae-Oh.

"Twisted ankle," Tae-Oh replied briefly.

The school's rumor mill began to churn. Students poured out of their classrooms, eager to catch a glimpse of the unexpected scene.

Teachers tried to restore order, but the hallway buzzed with excitement.

Eunho's face burned with embarrassment, but Tae-Oh's calm demeanor reassured her.

As they approached the nurse's office, Tae-Oh gently set Eunho down on the couch.

"I'll get the nurse," he said, his eyes locking onto hers.

Eunho nodded, feeling a flutter in her chest.

Eunho's gaze drifted off, lost in thought.

Tae-Oh and Jihoon watched her, their expressions contrasting - Tae-Oh's concerned, Jihoon's indifferent.

Yesterday's scene replayed in Eunho's mind - Jihoon's cold demeanor, Tae-Oh's protectiveness, and her own embarrassment.

Why do I care what Jihoon thinks? she wondered. He doesn't even know me... doesn't even care.

Yet, a nagging voice whispered: Yesterday's scene will make him remember me for life.

Eunho's thoughts swirled, emotions tangled.

Ji-hyun broke the silence. "Eunho, you okay?"

Eunho blinked, focusing on ji-hyun. "Yeah... just thinking."

As Tae-Oh left, the nurse entered the room, and Eunho's thoughts lingered on him.

After treatment, Eunho joined her class, but whispers followed her.

"Ooh, Tae-Oh's girlfriend!" someone shouted.

Dan-Oh stood up, her voice firm. "Shut your stupid mouth!"

The class fell silent, until a sharp voice cut through.

"How dare you touch my Tae-Oh?" Da-Hyun, the notorious school bully, sneered.

Da-Hyun's senior status and clique of friends intimidated many.

Eunho's heart sank, but before Da-Hyun could continue, Mr. Kim entered the classroom.

The room fell silent as students scrambled to their seats.

Mr. Kim's stern gaze swept the room. "Settle down, class."

Da-Hyun's smirk lingered, but she quieted, her eyes promising future confrontation.

Eunho felt a shiver run down her spine.

Mr. Kim continued, "As some of you may know, we have a new student joining our class. He's transferred from Class 3 to Class 4."

Eunho's ears perked up, curiosity getting the better of her.

"His name is Jihoon, and I expect you all to make him feel welcome."

Eunho's face dropped, her eyes widening in surprise.

She looked up, and her gaze locked onto Jihoon's indifferent expression.

He stood by the classroom door, his eyes scanning the room with a hint of disdain.

Eunho's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met.

"Why did he transfer?" someone whispered.

Mr. Kim's expression turned serious. "Jihoon faced some... difficulties in his previous class. Let's ensure he feels comfortable here."

Eunho's thoughts whirled: Difficulties? Antifans?

Jihoon's gaze lingered on her for a moment before shifting away.

Mr. Kim smiled. "Welcome, Jihoon. Where would you like to sit?"

Jihoon's gaze swept the room, his expression unreadable.

After a moment's pause, he said, "I'll sit at the end."

Eunho's eyes widened in surprise. He wants to sit next to me!

Her heart skipped a beat as Jihoon walked towards her, his long strides eating up the distance.

As he reached the empty seat beside Eunho, their eyes met.

For an instant, Eunho felt like she was drowning in his piercing gaze.

Jihoon's expression softened, ever so slightly, before he looked away.

Eunho's face flushed, her mind racing.

Why did he choose to sit next to me

AFTER CLASS ∆

As they packed up, Eunho glanced at Jihoon, still sitting by the window, staring outside.

His expression seemed distant, lost in thought.

Dan-Oh nudged Eunho. "Hey, let's go to the cafeteria."

Eunho stood, her eyes lingering on Jihoon.

"Coming?" Dan-Oh asked, noticing Eunho's gaze.

Eunho quickly looked away. "Yeah, let's go."

Eunho and Dan-Oh walked out of the classroom, joining Ji-Hyun and Soo-Young in the hallway.

"Hey, girls! What's up?" Ji-Hyun asked, falling into step beside them.

"Not much," Dan-Oh replied. "Just grabbing lunch."

The group headed to the cafeteria, chatting about their morning classes.

Eunho's mind wandered, thoughts drifting back to Jihoon.

She shook her head, focusing on her friends.

Inside the cafeteria, they found a table and began serving themselves.

As they sat down, Eunho scanned the room, her eyes instinctively searching for Jihoon.

As she entered the cafeteria, every eye turned to gaze at her. The room fell silent, except for the occasional snicker or whisper. She tried to ignore the stares, focusing on grabbing a tray and selecting her meal.

Just as she was about to pick up her food, a foot shot out from beneath the table, threatening to send her tumbling. She lost her balance, and her tray clattered to the floor. The cafeteria erupted into laughter.

Da Hyun's voice cut through the chaos, her tone icy and commanding. "Keep your dirty hands far from my Tae-oh."

Everyone was laughing and making videos.

Eunho's eyes widened in shock as she struggled to process the humiliation. Dan-oh, her loyal friend, sprang into action. With a fierce cry, Dan-oh unleashed a flying kick, connecting squarely with the phone-wielding boy's chest. The device flew out of his hands, and the cafeteria fell silent once more.

The boy stumbled backward, clutching his chest. The room held its collective breath as Dan-oh stood tall, her eyes blazing with defiance.

Just then, Jihoon walked into the cafeteria, his entrance as timely as a hero's. His gaze swept the room, taking in the scene. His eyes locked onto Eunho eye's

Jihoon's hand extended, his long fingers wrapping around Eunho's wrist. His touch sent shivers down her spine, but not from warmth. His hand was cold, almost icy.

Eunho's gaze met Jihoon's, and she was struck by the frosty glare. His eyes, usually bright and captivating, had transformed into two glittering ice shards. The chill emanating from him was palpable, making her heart skip a beat.

"Let's get out of here," Jihoon said, his voice low and even, but laced with an undercurrent of warning.

Sooyoung and Ji-hyun exchanged worried glances, sensing the sudden tension.

Suddenly tae-oh entered in cafeteria with 2/3 boys with him and when he saw the scene his eyes seems to be shocked and disappointed as he saw jihoon grabbing eun-ho wrist.

Eunho's eyes widened as Tae-oh's hand closed around her wrist, pulling her away from Jihoon's grasp. The sudden tug-of-war left her breathless.

Tae-oh's gaze locked onto Jihoon's, fiery intensity burning within. "Let her go," Tae-oh growled, his voice low and menacing.

Jihoon's icy facade cracked, revealing a glimmer of fury. "What if I not?" he spat, his grip tightening.

Eunho's wrists were trapped, suspended between the two males. Her heart raced as she felt the tension escalate.

Dan-oh and Ji-hyun rushed forward, concern etched on their faces. "Tae-oh, Jihoon, stop!" Ji-hyun pleased

Sooyoung swiftly pulled Eunho away from the tense standoff, her face set in a firm expression. As they broke free, Eunho glanced back at Jihoon and Tae-oh, their faces icy and unyielding.

"Elder Sooyoung, what's going on?" Eunho asked, confusion etched on her face. "You told me they were best friends."

Sooyoung's expression turned grave. "It's complicated, Eunho. Let's get out of here."

As they exited the cafeteria, Jihoon disappeared into the crowd, leaving Tae-oh's smirking face etched in Eunho's mind.

Dan-oh and Ji-hyun flanked Eunho, hastening their pace. "Omg, that was like a scene from a K-drama!" Ji-hyun exclaimed, giggling.

But Eunho and Dan-oh didn't share her amusement. Dan-oh's voice was laced with concern. "No, it's not what you think."

Eunho's eyes widened. "What happened?"

Dan-oh's grip on her arm tightened. "We'll talk later. Let's get to class."

Sooyoung swiftly pulled Eunho away from the tense standoff, her face set in a firm expression. As they broke free, Eunho glanced back at Jihoon and Tae-oh, their faces icy and unyielding.

But her mind race"Why did they fight? Was it really over me? A love triangle? It's absurd.

Jihoon's behavior last night was so ride, so strange But today, he's icy possiseve.Does he truly know me, or was it all an act?

And Tae-oh... I thought they were best friends. What happened? Why are they fighting over me?

Questions swirled in Eunho's mind, each one

tangled in confusion.

Did Jihoon's feelings for me change overnight? Or was it all a ruse?

Why did Tae-oh return after all this time? And why now?

What's going on between them? Is it really about me, or is there more to it?

Eunho's thoughts raced, seeking answers that seemed to vanish into thin air.
