Chapter 11 - 11 Bug Bite

...

"Bulbasaur!!"

Kenji ran to Bulbasaur's side.

Natsu also headed straight for Weedle and Bulbasaur.

Bulbasaur fell to the ground with his eyes closed, while Weedle stared at Bulbasaur on the ground with a blank look, a hint of guilt.

"What is it?"asked Natsu in a heavy voice.

"Wee." Weedle saw Natsu coming, shaking his body trying to explain something, but couldn't express it clearly.

"Bulba."Bulbasaur opened his eyes, after the pain subsided.

Kenji and Natsu sighed in relief when they saw Bulbasaur recovering quickly.

"What just happened?"

Weedle and Bulbasaur looked at each other, but no one knew between the two Pokémon because it happened suddenly.

"Bulba!"

"Wee!"

Then the two Pokémon told Natsu and Kenji about what had just happened.

In short.

As Weedle and Bulbasaur play with each other, Bulbasaur pulls out a Vine Whip to show Weedle how powerful his Vine Whip is.

And Weedle was also very curious about the Bulbasaur's Vine Whip that could grow from his body.

So he wanted to try it too, and he took a bite of it.

Of course Bulbasaur didn't care about this. After all, he was very confident in the endurance of his Vine Whip.

But who knows, when Weedle bit Bulbasaur's Vine Whip, he suddenly remembered the image and direction of Natsu who trained him to bite tree trunks, and the energy in his body was suddenly aroused.

Perhaps because of the accumulated practice experience, or because Weedle ate a Pokeblock today, which happened to stimulate his potential.

Weedle suddenly realized Bug Type's move, Bug Bite.

The result is predictable.

Vine Whip Bulbasaur received a hard bite from Weedle's mouth.

Natsu and Kenji were dumbfounded after seeing a green halo shining in Weedle's open mouth.

Bug Bite is a move that can be learned after Weedle reaches level 9 in the game, but usually after Weedle reaches level 7 he evolves into Kakuna, and can only be learned by preventing Weedle's evolution.

There or in the game, only through TM learning, however, this is a game.

In the real world, there is clearly no concept of automatic level-up and learning of abilities, and there is no such thing as a technical machine.

If the Pokemon wants to learn a new move, the Pokémon must train within a certain period of time, only then be able to understand it, or through purposeful continuous training, practice it perfectly until it learns to understand it.

Weedle had been training for some time under Natsu's arrangement, but according to his estimation, even if there was Pokeblock help, it would take at least a week or so to learn it, but he didn't expect Weedle to suddenly learn it while playing with Bulbusaur.

It can be seen that although Natsu's Weedle looks ordinary in all aspects, his potential is better in terms of understanding.

Of course, Natsu's initial training and insight also played a key role.

But there's no denying that Weedle might have a knack for this.

"Wee" Weedle stared blankly at Natsu, still unaware of what had happened, and even blamed himself for hurting Bulbasaur.

It wasn't until Natsu picked him up that he finally recovered a bit.

"It's written in the book, Do Pokémon learn movement?"Kenji muttered.

Kenji is not angry, it is only natural that Pokémon play with each other and not intentionally to hurt and Bulbasaur is only in pain, not hurt.

But seeing Weedle grasp the motion while playing was somewhat beyond his comprehension.

Why did Weedle suddenly understand movement so easily.

"Do not be nervous, you have learned a new movement, which means that our practice has achieved good results, and your efforts have paid off."Natsu touched Weedle's back and comforted him.

This was not just a reward for Weedle's hard work, but a testament to the way he trained.

This gave him more confidence that he could train and develop Weedle in his own way.

"Wee!"Weedle's little eyes sparkled.

It turns out that this is the feeling of understanding movement, which is so magical and incredible.

The overall feeling is very good.

"Alright, go and apologize to Bulbasaur, and we will hold a special training session on the Bug Bite movement, so that you can use it flexibly in battle as soon as possible."Natsu put Weedle back on the ground.

This incident once again strengthened his confidence.

Not a garbage Pokemon, just a garbage trainer, if Weedle can maintain this understanding, it may not be too obvious in the Weedle stage, but after evolving into a Beedrill, he can confidently develop into a powerful "Reaper" in the fight for the harvest.

"Wee!!"Weedle nodded obediently, crawled over to Bulbasaur, and apologized firmly.

And Bulbasaur is definitely not a smart Pokémon, and understands that.

Seeing the two Pokémon playing happily again, Natsu smiled.

This incident was very important to him.

Moreover, Kenji finally recovered at this time, looking at Weedle who was playing with Bulbasaur, then looking at Natsu who was more confident beside him. "Is this the trainer?"

For Kenji, he was absolutely sure this time.

Learning a new movement like this was the first time he had seen it, and it had a very different meaning than the simple description in the book.

Being able to confidently use Weedle, a Pokemon that the trainer does not look up to, as a beginner Pokemon, and cultivate and train him well, which is similar to the trainer having a strong Pokemon and a lot of resources from the start, gives him a completely different feel.

"Were you going to say something just now?"Natsu asked.

The two of them were chatting, when suddenly Bulbasaur appeared.

Hearing his question, Kenji suddenly reacted with a slightly complicated expression, and said, "next week, our school will go around and study to the Shigeki forest outside Saffron City. For safety reasons, the school allowed us to take the trainer, so I..."

"You want to invite me?"Natsu's eyes blinked.

Not that the club does not provide this service, but its price is more expensive.

"Yes."Kenji nodded.

He had hesitated a bit before, but that doubt vanished when Weedle studied Bug Bite.

"Why not invite a stronger trainer? Wouldn't it be safer?"Natsu is well aware of his own strength.

"The school decided that in order for us to be able to interact more with wild situations and wild Pokemon, we cannot invite trainers who are too strong and have more than 2 Pokemon to accompany us."Kenji explains how.

He then added: "Don't worry, the wild Pokémon in the forest ofshigeki is not strong, and the school will clean it up one last time before our event, just for the purpose of getting a better understanding of Pokémon as a group of students who are new to Pokémon, and maybe even a fight won't happen."

Is it just giving money?

And there is still a week.

Natsu thought about it for a moment, whether from the point of view of money or Weedle's training, he had no reason to refuse.

"Yes, I can."

What he needs most now is money.

Today, he spent his salary all at once, and seeing the additional role of Pokeblock for Weedle, he needed more money.

It just so happens that out-of-office searches make money faster.

"Then I will come to you when the time comes."Kenji is a little excited.

For learners like him, there is nothing more fun and exciting than adventure.

"Okay."
