**Chapter 127: Territory Location Selection, The Prime Plot**
Thousand cups Not Drunk used his [Morning Dew Wine] to charm Old Chen. Su Yu, meanwhile, was implementing a similar strategy.
---
**Oran City Hall**
With a subtle smile, Su Yu held up his black magic crystal card, flashing it towards the mayor, Viscount Anthony Rice.
"Lord Viscount, here are 200,000 psionic coins," Su Yu began, "to select a favorable plot for my territory."
Upon redeeming a territory, players normally receive a random plot assignment. If luck was on their side, they might end up with fertile land; if not, they could find themselves isolated on a barren island, a desert, a swamp, or worse – in the depths of a crater! The unlucky few left stranded in such places could do little but lament their misfortune.
But Su Yu was aware of an obscure trick: with a generous bribe, he could influence the city hall chief to secure a strategic location, dodging the risk of landing in an inhospitable wasteland.
The number "200,000" glowed on Su Yu's magic crystal card.
Viscount Rice's eyes flickered with interest as he swallowed. "Ahem!" Regaining his composure, he stood up and said with a straight face, "We're all working for the empire's prosperity, for a brighter future, so of course, I won't refuse such a reasonable request."
Keeping a professional facade, Viscount Rice took out a golden crystal card and, with a quick swipe, transferred the 200,000 psionic coins from Su Yu's card to his own.
Then he called to an attendant, who soon returned from the storage room with an enormous map, as tall as a person.
---
Sky Dragon and Wing Dragon had tagged along with Su Yu for this visit.
Watching Su Yu quietly hand over 200,000 psionic coins, both of them widened their eyes in shock.
Wing Dragon's gaze traveled from the crystal card to Su Yu, incredulous. "Mr. Ke, I didn't realize you were this wealthy!"
In their recent battle, Su Yu had splurged 150,000 coins on three ships, and now he was parting with another 200,000 without a second thought. Just how deep were his pockets?
Sky Dragon regarded Su Yu with open admiration. "Master President, psionic coins are in high demand right now. Any large transaction gets snatched up immediately."
"Uncle Blood Red and his guild monitor the coin market 24/7, yet even they can only secure a few tens of thousands a day. Where do you get such a vast amount?"
Su Yu merely raised a finger to his lips, a knowing smile forming as he stayed silent.
That quiet confidence left both of them awestruck, adding an air of mystery around Su Yu.
Could he be wielding considerable power in the real world as well?
---
The attendant brought the map to the table, and Su Yu carefully unrolled it.
**[Map of Oran City (Special Item)]**: A complete topographic map of Oran City, detailing town locations, roads, rivers, mountains, monster territories, and resource points like iron ore, quarries, and forests – all updated in real time.
Viscount Rice leaned closer to Su Yu with a friendly smile. "Brother Nemesis, here is the full map of Oran City. You can choose any available plot in the royal territory area."
The Viscount pointed at the pale gold sections on the map.
The land around Oran City was already parceled out among local NPC factions. Roughly two-thirds was controlled by prominent lords (marked in light red), while the remaining third was reserved exclusively for the royal family (marked in light gold).
Su Yu, having traded his [World Prestige] with the royal family, was restricted to choosing from the royal plots.
"Thank you for the reminder!" Su Yu replied, giving Viscount Rice a respectful nod before focusing on the map.
Sky Dragon and Wing Dragon leaned in as well, eager to help him decide.
After staring at the map for a moment, Sky Dragon pointed to a spot in the mountains. "I think this area looks promising!"
"Check it out – it has rivers, a quarry, a forest, even wildlife like deer and boars. You'd be set for water, food, and building materials!"
Su Yu inspected the area she suggested and shook his head. "This river is too small. For a territory to develop into a city, a major river is essential to support a large population. I also want to establish sea trade routes, so I need a coastal location. This plot is too far inland."
"Let me think," Wing Dragon mused, scratching his head as he studied the map intently.
"Alright, President," he said thoughtfully, "so you need a major river, proximity to the sea, and access to ample resources like wood and stone?"
"Exactly."
"Then, how about this?" Wing Dragon suggested. "Sky and I can help you screen plots based on those criteria. Then you can make the final choice."
"Sounds good."
---
Together, the three of them traced the rivers on the map, carefully marking each plot that fit Su Yu's requirements.
After evaluating each option, they discussed among themselves to narrow it down to the ideal location.
The process felt almost like choosing a civilization's starting point in a strategy game.
Finally, after careful deliberation, they selected the optimal plot.
---
The chosen land lay on the north bank of the lower Moonlight River.
The Moonlight River ran through Oran City, providing a generous water supply.
From this plot, Oran City lay 40 kilometers to the west, the coastal town of Luoyue 20 kilometers south, and the sea just over 10 kilometers to the east.
The soil here was fertile, and nearby forests and quarries promised an abundance of resources. It was, without question, the most strategic plot available on the map!
"Viscount Rice, I'll choose this spot," Su Yu confirmed, pointing to the location.
"Very well." Viscount Rice noted it down. "Coordinates (736, 278). I'll finalize the paperwork. Return to the city hall in one month to receive the title deed."
"Perfect. I just have one more question."
"Yes?" Viscount Rice looked at him with curiosity.
"Is this map for sale? If so, I'd be willing to pay handsomely."
Su Yu eyed the detailed map, impressed. With locations of monster territories, mines, and resource points all clearly marked and regularly updated, this would save him considerable time as he developed his territory.
Viscount Rice hesitated. "Well, it's technically public property…"
"100,000 psionic coins."
"Deal."
---
Half an hour later, Su Yu found himself sailing along the Moonlight River on a small cargo ship, charting a course toward his newly acquired land.
Although the territory currently only had a dirt road for travel, the Moonlight River provided a direct connection to Oran City. Su Yu could now transport supplies by boat, making the river an invaluable asset for future development.
With this territory as his base, he envisioned a city that would eventually rise into prominence!
Here, he would build fortifications, establish a [Mage Tower], nurture powerful allies, and, one day, drive the Skrulls off Blue Star for good.
