### Chapter 75 [The Love of the People and Horses Is Over]
After finishing the private chat, Su Yu spent 500 psionic coins to teleport to Oran City.
**OM—**
The teleportation magic circle erupted with a deafening roar, and with a dazzling flash of white light, Su Yu vanished into the massive magic circle.
Typically, teleportation comes with some negative effects. For instance, Su Yu now experienced dizziness, nausea, and an unsteady stance after the teleportation. However, he was well-prepared. After drinking a bottle of [Phase Elixir] purchased from the Portal Mage, his dizziness was reduced by more than half.
Just then, a system prompt arrived punctually:
"Ding! Congratulations on successfully opening the main storyline [The Holy Maiden of Oran City 1/100]."
"Task requirements: Go to 213 Songguo Street to meet Tina."
"Reward: EXP X200."
Su Yu gazed at the vibrant Oran City before him and sighed slightly.
"The Holy Maiden of Oran City," he mused. This expansion pack features a total of four main storylines: one for Tina, one for the princess, and two for the rebels. Unexpectedly, in this life, he had wrapped up the two main plots of the victorious side, while the rebels would leave it to some fortunate player to pursue.
"Let's go, Tima; let's see your master," he said, patting the mare's neck as he walked down the street.
Since the main storyline quests were generally more challenging, Su Yu decided to tackle the side quest [The Love of People and Horses] first before specializing in the main storyline.
Oran City, a large metropolis in the southwest of the Empire, boasted a permanent population of 30,000 to 400,000. This place was far removed from the smoke of war, allowing its streets to thrive with songs and dances, the faces of its citizens aglow with smiles.
In the Warriors Guild, Su Yu located the warrior supervisor, the beautiful Quinn.
Outside the guild's gate, Quinn regarded Tima with a frown. "Adventurer, you were right. Tina left this horse in the village to pursue her dream of becoming a unicorn knight."
"Tina was very reluctant to part with her. They share a deep bond. But there's no way around it; a knight's pride as a unicorn means they cannot have another mount."
Tima seemed to understand the conversation, bowing her head and looking listless, as if she could scarcely muster the energy to stand.
Su Yu shrugged. "So what should I do? This little mare doesn't want to eat and is getting thinner by the day. If this continues, she'll surely fall ill. If she dies, won't it hurt Tina even more?"
Upon hearing this, Tima exaggeratedly swayed as if she might collapse at any moment.
"Should I call Tina here to decide?" Quinn suggested, rubbing her sore forehead.
"Sounds like a plan," Su Yu agreed.
In the next segment of the quest, Tina arrived at the Warriors Guild to reunite with Tima.
"Woooooo, Anna, I miss you so much!" Tina cried as she embraced Tima's neck, tears streaming down her face.
"Anna" was the name she had given Tima.
The mare, too, shed tears, neighing in pain as they embraced, sharing a moment of sorrow.
Quinn folded her arms, observing this touching scene, unsure of what to say.
After a long silence, she sighed, "Tina, crying won't solve anything. You need to think about your next steps."
"I've made my decision!" Tina proclaimed, wiping her tears. "I'm taking Anna to the unicorn camp to make her my future mount!"
"You're crazy!" Quinn exclaimed in shock. "The commander of the legion will never accept a normal horse!"
"It's fine," Tina replied with determination. "I want to prove that a 'unicorn knight' can be stronger than a knight riding a unicorn! If I can ride Anna and defeat a standard unicorn knight, then I will be worthy of joining the Legion!"
Turning to Su Yu, with her big red eyes still glistening from crying, she asked, "Adventurer, will you help me?"
Realizing who he was, Tina exclaimed, "It's you, Nemesis! I didn't expect you to come see me in Oran City!"
"Yes, it's me," Su Yu smiled, stepping forward to take her small hand in his. "Let's solve Anna's problem together. Don't worry; I'll do my best to help!"
"Thank you," Tina said, her cheeks flushing with gratitude.
The next few quests, ranging from 3 to 8, were straightforward for Su Yu, as they primarily involved hunting monsters. He accompanied Tina in defeating wild beasts, challenging elite foes, and eliminating bosses.
They harvested numerous materials from the monsters they defeated. Tina used these materials to seek out an enhancer named [Kaili] in the city to improve her equipment, successfully enhancing her full set to +6.
While enhancing her own gear, Tina also focused on improving Tima's attributes. She commissioned the city's best blacksmith to craft a suit of armor for Tima and even soaked her in monster blood to enhance her strength.
Tima, once slow and burdened, now strutted with renewed vigor, allowing Su Yu to ride her without feeling overwhelmed. Tina, fully armored, now wielded a massive lance with confidence, able to gallop as swiftly as the wind.
In the ninth quest, Tina officially challenged a real unicorn knight.
The Great Arena in the heart of Oran buzzed with excitement, packed with eager residents ready to witness the duel.
On one side stood Tina, the talented girl mounted on an ordinary horse; on the other was the battle-hardened female knight Rael, riding a magnificent white unicorn.
For the spectators, Tina embodied the spirit of the grassroots, while Rael represented the nobility. The official betting odds were set at 1.2:3.6, favoring Rael at 1.2 to 1, while giving 3.6 to 1 for Tina.
Over 90% of the crowd placed their bets on Rael, but that did not stop them from cheering for Tina, hoping she would triumph over the elite.
Su Yu also placed a small bet of 1 million on Tina's victory, viewing it as his way of supporting her. He wished to wager more, but the official betting limits left him feeling powerless.
On the viewing platform, high-ranking members of the Unicorn Knights whispered about the upcoming duel, as if deliberating on a great strategy.
**The battle commenced.**
Contrary to the audience's expectations, Tina did not fall immediately to Rael's onslaught. The experienced knight capitalized on her unicorn's abilities, casting light spells that provided a significant advantage, putting Tina at a disadvantage.
Yet, against all odds, Tina managed to persevere, resembling a small boat bobbing in a tempestuous sea. The waves threatened to engulf her, but she fought valiantly to stay afloat.
The battle reached a stalemate.
Twenty minutes later, the fierce fight came to a climactic conclusion. Both Tina and Tima had sustained numerous injuries, bloodied and bruised.
Tima collapsed to the ground, barely clinging to life. Tina knelt half-heartedly, struggling to keep pressure on the wound in her abdomen, yet the determination etched on her face remained steadfast.
Rael, though pale, was in significantly better condition, the unicorn continuously healing her with spells.
With a lance pointed at Tina, Rael slowly approached her.
"Yield! You've fought valiantly with an ordinary horse. You can be considered the strongest of this batch of newcomers. But now, what do you have left to fight with?"
Tina hung her head, seemingly on the verge of surrender. Yet a flicker of cunning sparkled in her eyes.
"You've been tricked!"
"What?"
"Look at the sword!"
Tina drew the [best sword in the village] that Su Yu had gifted her, pointing it directly at Rael.
**Bang!**
The rusty blade fell to the ground, and Rael entered a state of [stunned] for three seconds.
