Alec was startled when he realized his fist was easily stopped by the thug in front of him.
The thug gripped his fist with just one hand, the contemptuous expression on his face clearly infuriating Alec.
"Oy! Did you skip breakfast? The girls at the massage parlor have a stronger grip than you," the thug mocked.
Alec gritted his teeth, his gut telling him that something was wrong.
'Strange… how could he stop my fist?'
'Could it be… No, that's impossible. They're just common thugs; how could they be survivors?'
'It must be because I haven't used my energy yet; that's why he caught my fist.'
Alec couldn't accept the reality that he couldn't defeat a common thug, so he searched for a reasonable excuse for himself.
He gritted his teeth, his face red with anger, trying to pull his fist back.
However, he realized something even stranger, which was… he couldn't pull his fist out of the thug's hand.
