Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: Khan vs Quitela

After the first round of competition, the Gods of Destruction had some free time.

While they were free to move around in the Great Gods of Destruction world, there was one strict rule: nothing could be destroyed. No flowers, no grass, no trees—nothing. It was the unbreakable rule of the Gods of Destruction Summit.

Even if two Gods of Destruction had personal grudges, they couldn't engage in battle during the break. The consequences for breaking this rule would be severe.

Under the shade of a towering tree, Kahn and Whis were taking a break, sitting comfortably in chairs.

"Mr. Kahn, do you have any strategies for the second round, the point-based system?" Whis asked, his tone thoughtful.

He wasn't sure whether Kahn could make the Great Gods of Destruction staff recognize him as its master, but Whis was determined to do everything in his power to help Kahn win the summit.

In the second round, it wasn't just strength that mattered—luck played a significant role. But still, personal strength would be the deciding factor.

Kahn grinned, his answer blunt and straightforward. "The plan is simple: defeat the other five at once."

Whis blinked, clearly stunned by Kahn's response. "You plan to challenge all five of them at the same time?"

Kahn nodded casually, "That's right. I don't see why not."

Whis stared at him, his mind racing. While confidence was good, this plan seemed incredibly reckless. "Are you sure you can take on all five Gods of Destruction at once?"

Kahn shook his head with a smile. "Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. But I enjoy challenging my limits."

With his Immortal Body and infinite energy, Kahn was confident he could stand up to five Gods of Destruction. However, there was one thing that still worried him—if he was knocked out of the ring, he would lose, no matter how strong he was.

Whis sighed, shaking his head. "It's a risky strategy."

Challenging all five opponents in the second round was something no Gods of Destruction would dare attempt unless they were incredibly sure of their abilities. Typically, the strategy was to secure a win with minimal risk, and only take bigger chances when victory was within reach. One mistake could cost everything.

"So, what's your plan, then?" Kahn asked, intrigued.

Whis explained his approach. "I believe Quitela will be the first to challenge you in the second round. If you win, you'll gain a point. That way, you'll have an advantage to challenge others. If you lose, though, you'll lose a point, but then you could take a bigger risk and challenge multiple opponents."

It was a cautious strategy designed to maximize Kahn's chances of winning. Whis was trying to avoid unnecessary risks, knowing that the Gods of Destruction in the second round were all formidable opponents.

Kahn thought for a moment before nodding. "Alright, we'll play it your way. We'll see how things go."

Whis gave a relieved sigh. "Good. You're right—those advancing to the second round are all strong. It's better to be conservative for now."

Time passed quickly, and the six players who had advanced to the second round were now fully rested and prepared for the upcoming battle. The final round of the Gods of Destruction Summit was about to begin.

The voice of the Dragon God Salama echoed throughout the arena. "Welcome back, everyone! The final round of the 1,599,999th Gods of Destruction Summit is about to begin. The participants are Kahn, Champa, Quitela, Jerez, Arack, and Sidra."

"The rules for the final round are simple: each participant has a chance to challenge others. The match starts now."

For a moment, there was an eerie silence. None of the six Gods of Destruction moved. Each one was waiting for the others to make the first move. No one wanted to challenge first, knowing that whoever did would lose the advantage.

This wasn't just a test of strength—it was a psychological game. Everyone was waiting for someone to break first.

Ten minutes passed without a word.

"Hmph!" Quitela couldn't wait any longer.

"I guess I'll be the one to start," he said, stepping forward with a sly grin. "I'll throw out a challenge and see who takes the bait."

And with that, Quitela leapt into the ring.

Kahn couldn't help but smile. He had expected this. Quitela was probably going to challenge him first.

The moment Quitela entered the ring, all eyes turned to Kahn. Everyone had guessed who Quitela would challenge.

As expected, Quitela pointed directly at Kahn. "Hey, mortal kid from the Seventh Universe! Are you brave enough to face Master Quitela?"

Kahn's smile widened. "I'm more than ready. Let's do this."

This was exactly what Kahn wanted.

Without hesitation, he leaped into the ring. Quitela, a little over a meter tall, was dwarfed by Kahn, who was nearly twice his size. To the onlookers, it looked like Kahn was towering over a child.

"Ready to lose?" Kahn taunted, looking down at Quitela.

Boom!

With a sudden movement, Quitela unleashed an overwhelming aura, crushing down on Kahn like a mountain. The pressure was intense, but Kahn simply chuckled.

"Still playing these tricks?" he scoffed, shrugging his shoulders. The immense pressure dissipated instantly as Kahn's body brushed it aside effortlessly.

The atmosphere was thick with tension.

"You can feel the tension in the air," one of the gods remarked.

"Quitela isn't Belmod . This kid, Kahn, may have beaten Belmod , but he still has to face Quitela. That's a whole different level."

"I agree," another god said. "Losing to Quitela would be no shame for Kahn, especially considering he's just a candidate for Gods of Destruction."

Most of the gods were betting on Quitela. After all, he had a long history of success in the Gods of Destruction Summit, and without Beerus present, many believed he was the likely champion this year.

Meanwhile, Belmod 's face was dark with frustration. He couldn't shake the shame of losing to Kahn. Losing to a mere candidate—how could he face the other Gods of Destruction after that?
