I was alone with him.
The driver driving wasn't even paying any attention to us.
How could he, he would have probably being threatened by Felix.
Then Felix spoke breaking the pregnant silence and adding more tension to the already tension filled air.
"Do not expect me to love you, you are just another liability I have to take care of in order to inherit my father's company. Do not come in my way or disrupt my work"
"Make sure you stay out of my business".
"You can keep working in the office and in the same position you work but do not forget to stay out of my way"
"You are my wife and you'll perform all your duties as a wife without any dispute"
"I mean all your duties as a wife. Cook, clean, and satisfy me".
"That's what you'll do. You shall be my maid, servant as well as my pleasure tool".
"We are here" He said and then left the car.
I was dumbstruck. I knew I was going from one hell to another because there was no easy Felix's house would be small.
How would I clean alone?
Does Felix even have maids.
What does me being his pleasure tool mean?
I got out of the car and I was stunned by the view in front of me.
Felix's mansion was crazily and unnecessarily huge with lots of guards.
I was scared to death watching how armed the guards were.
Any mistake from me and order from Felix could lead to my instant death without any bargain.
When I walked in, Felix was no where to be seen.
Instead, I came across the maids and other staffs lining up from the entrance all through to the main sitting room.
There was another sitting room located in the house apparently which Martha told me.
Martha is the mansion's head maid responsible for overseeing daily management and smooth operations.
She was the most important person who I could talk to because she represented the whole household.
I was quite touched by the welcome introduction I received when I got in. It made me feel special though I know that if they had found any information about me, they wouldn't even respect me one bit.
I was also introduced to my personal maids Rita and Sophia
I was quite confused. I thought I was told by Felix in the car that I had to clean the house I mean wasn't that what I was told about my duties as a wife and all?
How would I fulfill my duties as a wife if there are lots of maids?
Am I supposed to monitor them?
I have to ask Felix and I know the conversation is not gonna be simple.
After I was introduced to the maids, Martha tooke to my room.
Well,my marital room. I'm supposed to share a room with Felix.
He told me to not disturb him or interfere with his work.
How am I supposed the share the same closet with him?
I took a tour around the room and I was glad Felix was nowhere to be found.
The room was huge with a King side bed with a very luxurious canopy bed frame. It made the setting of the room looks so romantic.
The bathroom was really huge with the shower having 2 shower heads and aesthetic marble tied walls.
There was a really big bath tub close to the very large jacuzzi.
I was getting really excited.
There was a jacuzzi.
The bathroom had lots of mirrors and the products stocked in could basically last a lifetime.
This bathroom was definitely the definition of beauty and a safe space. It had definitely attracted my attention and already has my attention.
I was definitely in love with this.
The walk in closet looked like it was pulled into reality from a girls imagination.
Felix's clothes, shoes and accessories occupied one half of the closet while the other half held my things.
The most expensive things I've ever had I might include.
Walking out of the walk in closet, I was met with a balcony with the most stunning view of nature.
There was a field of flowers with different colours reassuring me and refreshing my senses
Nature has always and will always make me feel calm.
I had to change out of this horrendous wedding dress.
It was rapidly decreasing the level of energy I had left in me.
The adrenaline I felt when I was taking a tour around the room rapidly deteriorated leaving me absolutely drained.
I dragged myself to the closet picked a fussy yet comfy attire to change into and instantly jumped into the shower.
I could feel my tensed muscles relaxing. This was the best shower I've ever had.
I didn't even feel like getting out of the shower I was getting too comfortable.
I knew Felix would come in at any time.
Well I guessed he would come in anytime soon. It was getting quite late.
I was right.
Few minutes after I got out of the shower and I was staring at the flower field, Felix came into the room.
I waited for him to take a shower and prepare for bed.
Then I asked the question that has been on my mind since I saw the maids.
"How am I supposed to cook and clean if we have so much maids for that".
"Well it's simple you have to wake up early everyday to help the maids clean and cook" Felix replied.
"I'll tell you whenever I need you to do something else"
"You are to wake up by 5am every morning, clean, prepare breakfast and the prepare for work. We leave by 7:30 am every morning. Make sure you are ready".
"I really don't care if you skip breakfast".
"All I care about is that you don't skip work"
"Now please let me be, I need to sleep. We resume working next week. This will make people think we have had a very romantic honeymoon".
"You have to create a story for that"
"But for now, you can relax for this week".
