After being rejected by Reiki, Chodori was stunned for a moment.
"Huh? You said you don't have time?"
"Dark Night, get out!"
Chodori instantly appeared in front of Dark Night and kicked her away.
Of course, Dark Night had the strength to resist, but she chose not to. After all, once targeted by Chodori, the situation wouldn't end well either way.
So, following Chodori's strength, Dark Night rolled away.
"Fight me! If you lose, you have to listen to me!" Chodori pouted, clearly dissatisfied.
"Can't you use the power of time and space?" Reiki looked at Chodori with confusion.
He was eager to engage in this type of battle, as it allowed him to digest the energy he absorbed faster and master his newfound powers more efficiently. Fighting with someone like Chodori was a rare opportunity.
"Alright, no need to use the power of time and space!" Chodori said firmly, raising her small hand in preparation for battle.
"Okay," Reiki nodded, took a deep breath, and rushed directly toward Chodori.
Boom!
With just one blow, Reiki was sent flying backward.
"What!?" Reiki crashed to the ground, realizing he couldn't feel his arm. With one hit, his arm was completely destroyed.
"All hands!" Reiki quickly activated his healing jutsu, restoring his arm.
"So strong..." he muttered, staring at Chodori in shock. He finally understood why even Dark Night feared her.
It wasn't just Chodori's mastery of the rules—it was her sheer strength.
"Continue?" Chodori asked with a grin.
"Yes," Reiki replied, though cautiously. "But wait a moment."
Reiki walked to a nearby stone tablet, placed his hand on it, and activated it.
Buzz!
A wave of energy spread, and the tablet lit up. Reiki's body was drained of energy, but another name appeared in his contract book—Chodori.
"Release!" Reiki deactivated his third shadow clone, allowing his body to recover. He then took a potion, drank it, and prepared for another round.
"Aren't you the one who didn't want to contract with me?"
Boom!
"Boy, you sure can take a beating!"
Boom!
"I can still fight! Let's keep going!"
Boom!
Chodori's relentless attacks continued. Reiki endured, finding satisfaction in the battle. Every blow strengthened his body, accelerating his growth and comprehension of his abilities.
The battle lasted for two days. By then, Reiki's shadow clones were depleted, and his potions nearly exhausted. He sat on the ground, absorbing and comprehending the magic he had gathered.
"Not bad," Chodori said, sitting on a nearby boulder and shaking her legs with a satisfied smile.
Though she had her disagreements with Reiki earlier, Chodori now respected his resilience and talent.
"Chodori looks very happy," said Al, one of her companions. "Sister, how about we give it a try too?"
"His current body can't handle it," Gu Jia replied. "Let's go. Chodori will bring the potion back to us."
With that, Gu Jia turned and left, finding no reason to stay for the rest of the training.
Reiki prepared potions using the medicinal materials provided by Dark Night and Chodori, then departed.
"Dark Night, this is yours," Chodori said, handing her a potion. "By the way, now that you can transform, you should think about your development direction."
"I'm going to find my elder sister and the others," Chodori said before leaping away.
At the same time, Reiki returned to the courtyard.
"Brother Reiki, the teacher asked you to report to the Hokage's office," Shizune informed him as she stood guard, awaiting his arrival.
"Already? I'm not fully prepared yet," Reiki muttered, quickly making his way to the Hokage's office while organizing the potions he had on hand.
When he arrived, the office was already filled with familiar faces:
Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Fugaku Hyuga Momori and Hyuga Hinzu Hatake Sakumo and Hatake Kakashi
Even the legendary Sannin—Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru—were present.
"Leave Konoha's security to us," Hyuga Momori declared confidently. "The Hyuga clan is fully prepared to defend the village!"
Hyuga Momori smiled when he saw Reiki enter. If not for Reiki, the Hyuga clan wouldn't have advanced so rapidly.
"Madara Uchiha will lead this mission," Namikaze Minato announced. "Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru will each command a team. The goal is to make a lasting impression on Sunagakure in the shortest time possible."
Reiki naturally joined Tsunade's team as a medical ninja.
"But I'm not ready yet," Reiki said, feeling the weight of the moment.
"Ready?" Namikaze Minato asked, puzzled.
"Prepare enough potions!" Reiki replied. "My supply is low."
Because of the recent costs for Yucun's reconstruction, Reiki had exhausted his inventory. His training in time and space had further depleted his resources.
"Alright," Namikaze Minato said. "We'll leave tomorrow at noon. Is one day enough?"
"That's enough," Tsunade assured him. She was well aware of Reiki's unique ability to quickly create potions.
Reiki nodded, determined to make the most of his time to prepare.
